...or even since the HHH/Hardy Armageddon match got the #1 contender stipulation slapped onto it, have J.R. or King ever mentioned at all on RAW or PPV, that Jeff went up against Taker in a Ladder Match for the then Undisputed title, or do they not “recognize” it because he later got terminated for drug usage? Would greatly appreciate any help with this question...

Not that I've noticed, in fact they seem to be mentioning this as his first opportunity to fight for the title. It happened more then a few months ago so naturally we're not expected to remember it.

It's more impressive if this is his first title shot, so they probably dont'/won't mention it at all.
