Anyone seen this site yet? It's pretty cool. You can put a teams from different years against each other and simulate what would happen (Ex. The '99 Rams vs The '00 Ravens). You get full play by play and everything. It's great. I've been messing with the NFL part for a while now.

Also, if you want to sign up you can draft a team and compete in a league. I just now drafted a team (NFL7000). My QB is '95 Brett Favre, my RB is '80 Earl Campbell, my WR is '84 Art Monk, and I have the 2000 Raven's D.

Anyways, if anyone does join a league, then post your team here. :y:

I just played the '72 Dolphins against the 2000 Ravens. Ravens beat them 16-13 and knocked both Griese and his backup Earl Morrall out of the game. lol. That sounds about right.

FearedSanctity 03-08-2004 01:20 PM

I played the '98 Broncos vs. the '72 Dolphins:

1972 Miami Dolphins 10
1998 Denver Broncos 43

Player of the Game:
Rod Smith (7 rec. for 115 and a TD)

I just did the 2000 Ravens against the 1996 Jets. And the Jets won 14-3. The Jets went 1-15 in 1996

I just did the 1927 Yankees vs the 1998 Yankees. Arguably the two greatest MLB teams of all-time.

Anyway, the 27 Yankees were ahead 6-2 in the top of the eighth. But, like so many times before, the 98 Yanks came back and scored 6 runs. Rivera came in and closed the 27 Yankees down after that.

Final Score:
98 Yanks: 8
27 Yanks: 6

Was it in NY? Cause if so... it could happen I suppose. I still haven't been able to find a team to beat Baltimore. I played them against 2003 Pats and Baltimore won 18-10. Pats had the ball at mid field with a minute left but Brady got intercepted for the 4th time.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-08-2004 05:52 PM

nope it was in Baltimore

#1-norm-fan 03-08-2004 05:54 PM

Well then that's just lame.

Atleast it wasn't like... 38-34 though which would have completely ruined all credibility of the site.

Yeah, even if it's way off sometimes, it's still kinda cool to read the play by play and stuff.
