I posted in the wrong forum and instead of making a big deal about it, I am honoring Jack Burton for all of his Jack Burtonness..

Raiden from Mortal Kombat is in it. :shifty:

Kris P Lettus 12-29-2007 10:54 PM

No he's not..

Three Storms > Mortal Kombat

And then there's that guy that blows himself up. Probably the most retarded power you can have. BTiLC is one of the first films that made me start liking Kurt Russell.

Blitz 12-30-2007 01:16 AM

Awesometastic movie. Jack Burton>you.

Best movie is hard to say. After all, Army of Darkness also exists. But BTiLC contains significant amounts of awesomeness.

D Mac 12-30-2007 04:14 PM

Jack Burton or Jack Bauer?

Mr Regal 12-30-2007 08:27 PM

I would say Big Trouble in Little China is certainly one of the greatest pieces of cinema in existence.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is not worthy of life.

Mr Regal 12-30-2007 08:28 PM

oh and,

Big Trouble in Little China > Army of Darkness

everyday of the week.

Ok you need to sit down, you've had too much sugar, not Everyday off the week

Maybe it would have the majority of the week, but I'd give ash the Thursday and the Friday, you know, the cool days off the week

BTiLC is awesome though, so many great lines that are used when around mates:

'How did you get up there?' 'It wasn't easy'

'We may be trapped'

and of course

'It's all in the reflexs'

Have you met my BOOOMSTICK?

Ash would kill the shit out of Ole Jack any fucking day.

Kris P Lettus 01-05-2008 05:54 PM

Jack Burton>*

What Would Kevin Do? 01-05-2008 05:59 PM

Kris P does make a valid arguement.

Kris P Lettus 01-05-2008 06:02 PM

You can't argue with FACTS..

D Mac 01-05-2008 06:25 PM

Ash

Blitz 01-05-2008 06:33 PM

Diesel Mac, quit being a fool plz.

D Mac 01-05-2008 11:40 PM

Ash would deliver a clever one liner before he kills Jack.

LOL you know what would be cool, movie with those 2. Chinese deadites have taken over and only Jack and Ash can battle them.

Xerzes 01-06-2008 12:55 AM

I used to think like that, Diesel Mac. I wanted to see a movie with Kurt Russell and Bruce Campbell. Then one was made.

Yeah, I'm sorry too.

Kris P Lettus 01-06-2008 12:50 PM

Jack Burton and Ash share similar qualities that make them awesome.. They are both regular guys who are put into crazy situation and even though they are both lacking in experience, they prevail..

Plus they both have the greatest one-liners known to man..

Ash has proven it wasn’t a fluke though, after the first (and technically second) battle with evil, he then Manned up and went back in time to once again prove that he can handle anything

Jack needs another challenge to prove that it wasn’t a fluke and once again defeat some Asian evil

Kris P Lettus 01-07-2008 04:42 PM

The best part about Big Trouble in Little China is there is this white extra who appears in TWO different battles.. First being the funeral, then in the final one in Lo Pan's layer.. He is fat and has a beard..
