Is it possible for a wrestler from RAW brand to get the Smackdown! titles and vice versa?

It is but I don't think its likely. Maven lost a smackdown title to raw once.

Chris Benoit is on his way to taking the Raw title.

There seems to be one match that people always seem to forget... Even WWE (Suprise, suprise!)... The first ever Inter-promotional match... It was at SummerSlam 02, RVD vs. Benoit for the IC title...

And the laws of, what Ill call, seperate companies, dont apply to the WWE, since its one company...

I think he means and stay on the program at the same time.

When the brand extension first started, the WWF (WWE) World Championship was the top title on BOTH brands.

The champ fought for both RAW and SmackDown! to defend the belt, and when it changed hands, then the former champ would remain on the brand they lost it on, in theory anyways.

So, to answer your question, it DID happen, but with the current structure, and playing the brands out as two SEPERATE entries, it wouldn't logically happen. Then again, neither would interpromotional matches...so stay tuned and see!
