I think I found WWE's inspiration for Santino's accent/gimmick.

LMAO!! This is actually the first glimpse I've had of what Triple H was like in WCW...I think. I mean, I didn't know who he was till he went to the WWF/E. The only name I heard of him going under in WCW was Terra Ryzin and I hear that one didn't go too well either. At least they kinda used his real name in this vid.

Looking at it, this was more of a precursor for his 'Blue Blood' gimmick the WWE stuck on him back in the day. I really can't see Santino's gimmick in this one at all. Triple H played a pompous Frenchmen, which actually reminded me more of Rene Dupree or Silvan Granier.

It's the accent.

His accent sounds too much like Santino's and the words he is using fits Santino to a tee.

Then you can interchange the minor characters each week.

And also, Santino & Carlito need to start using turtle shells as weapons. That's heelish shit right there. Santino must also describe what he does to Maria's "pipes" with Super Mario sound effects done in the Italian accent.
