Guess who is coming back?

According to both PWInsider and Wrestling Observer, The Big Show has agreed to a new deal. He is said to be down to around 440lbs due to the training he did in his failed boxing attempt.

Thoughts?

SammyG 01-11-2008 04:39 PM

lol down to 440. Meh. I think he sucks, but whatever.

KingofOldSchool 01-11-2008 04:47 PM

Actually that's pretty good for him, if he loses a little bit more he can get to his early WCW weight and that would be bad ass.

The Gold Standard 01-11-2008 04:47 PM

I hope you are right...I miss The Big Show

Kane Knight 01-11-2008 04:50 PM

WEEEEEEEELL...IT'S THE BIG SHOOOOOOOW!

Theo Dious 01-11-2008 04:58 PM

Big Show... boxing?

Big Show vs Yokozuna vs Khali in a 3 way smash

Mr. JL 01-11-2008 05:12 PM

Watch out CM Punk... you are about to be destroyed.

Mr. JL 01-11-2008 05:12 PM

Much to my delight

Wrongo.

He'll be on Raw.

JT 01-11-2008 05:26 PM

Meh...Big Show is only as good as the storyline he's in.

Still, be nice to see him in shape.

Xero 01-11-2008 05:28 PM

Yeah, I don't see jack shit about this on PWInsider.

JT 01-11-2008 05:33 PM

I noticed that they mentioned something earlier about hiring a former World Champion, and now there is something up on Ron Killings. I remember Ron Killings was an NWA Champion...maybe they're just refering to him.

Mr. Nerfect 01-11-2008 06:01 PM

When I heard the WWE had signed a former multi-time World Champion to a contract, and then saw the report that Ron Killings had been signed, I thought it was him. My second guess was Sid Vicious. Rob Van Dam and Big Show (probably in that order) would have been my next guesses.

Big Show's offer would have been for a lot of money, so good for him. He's also quite entertaining, and he's actually a proven draw (not a massive one, but to a degree). A good deal for both the WWE and Big Show, I'd say.

And yes, he will be on RAW. Hopefully as a babyface. I prefer babyface badass Big Show. Fuck, with WrestleMania not taking shape yet, I'd actually rather see him win the Royal Rumble than either The Underaker or Triple H, and then kill Randy Orton to become WWE Champion. But of course, that's just because the scenarios of The Undertaker and Triple H winning are horrible.

Volare 01-11-2008 06:44 PM

So I bet if they're pushin him hard....he'll be a "suprise appearance" at the rumble.

If he's coming back he should go to Smackdown. Since they have garbage like Khali and Mark Henry there, they might as well have Big Show take their role. They should feed Big Show Mark Henry just like that, and then release him. Then they should push Big Show as a heel, since Edge and MVP are the only heels they have.

I'm not a big fan of the Big Show, but if he's gotta be used he'd be better off on Smackdown which has like 4 main eventers to its name, rather than on Raw which has like 10.

Londoner 01-11-2008 06:50 PM

Would be cool to see him back. Aslong as they dont job him out to HHH. They should make it seem like he's better than ever, like they did with HHH.

And they should do it by feeding him Ron Killings, just like they did with Booker T

Fignuts 01-11-2008 07:03 PM

Big show isn't just another khali or mark henry. The guy really knows how to tell a story in the ring. I used to think it was other guys carrying him, but great match after great match after great match convinced me that the guy really knows how to use his size and offense in a way that really makes sense and helps the match.

His ECW title run was one of my favorite title reigns of the last 5 years.

Londoner 01-11-2008 07:05 PM

^ Same here.

Mr. Nerfect 01-11-2008 07:32 PM

He was really great in ECW. He picked up his game fantastically. And I think Big Show would be better fitted to a show like SmackDown! than RAW, but seeing as he would be new back, I would place a bet on RAW.

The Optimist 01-11-2008 08:18 PM

Fignuts is correct. Big Show is great.

James Steele 01-11-2008 09:41 PM

WORLD'S LARGEST MOONSAULT

OverTaker 01-11-2008 10:32 PM

Big show needs to come back with his latest ECW music. I liked that entrance theme plus, that should be his character again. A big bad dude. I'd like to see him a wwe champion or world champion.

Nark Order 01-11-2008 10:38 PM

As far as Hosses go, Big Show is top tier. Lots of charisma. Lots of things can be done with him. Hopefully he's a Khali replacement.

OverTaker 01-11-2008 10:44 PM

Khali < Big Show

I heard somewhere that at one point, he was able to preform a moonsault in WCW. True, or did I hear wrong?

Lock Jaw 01-12-2008 02:41 AM

True. Hence Mr. Steele's exclamation.

BigDaddyCool 01-12-2008 02:45 AM

Don't really care.

You have no idea how tempted I am to make that my gimmick when I'm finally legit to wrestle.

Also, Big Show winning the Rumble would make me sperm myself.

James Steele 01-12-2008 01:24 PM

How is there not a vid on YouTube of Paul Wight's massive moonsault?

The Genius 01-12-2008 02:19 PM

i would rather see Sid back.

He done it in the wcw powerplant years back. Only ever did it once from what i recall, not really suprising, for a 7 footer theres limited time to get flipped around properly before you land on your neck.

Big Show is solid. He's not spectacular, but he can certainly entertain. Not to mention, he gets a good reaction.

Corkscrewed 01-12-2008 06:05 PM

^ Agreed.

But I just feel like if they bring him back, his first feud will be with the Great Khali. Cuz you know, Vince would cum like 39 times.

Indifferent Clox 01-12-2008 06:12 PM

JESUS?"!?!??!

or eddie vedder as you like to call him?
