NeanderCarl and JH: no. I got rid of the usual 500 post/1 year here entrance requirement for a reason. I didn't want people who were just under the line bitching to be let in. With the entrance criteria gone, all people had to do was sign up on time.

If I make an exception for you guys, I gotta make an exception for everyone else who wants in. Sign up was open for a solid month, and neither of you could get on TPWW for 10 seconds to sign up? Doesn't fill me with confidence in terms of making your predictions all the time.

Hmmm... you know, several times throughout the last couple years (until my connection issues started in August) I actually provided live play-by-play for PPVs on here, often times being the only person here actually watching the show, so that you guys too cheap to actually buy the PPVs could find out how you actually did, yet I don't get to have a go myself??? What a miscarriage of justice!

It's a travesty I tell you. Gorilla Monsoon is spazzing out in his grave as we speak.

I dunno, do we really need anything other than that? I was thinking about doing the "predict the champs at year's end" thing again, but honestly, I don't see the point other than inflating totals, and it's kind of a crap shoot anyways.

Everyone know's Carl and there was criteria I'd say you would be in, but Blitz isn't doing that, so he's got to stick to his guns, but you did have a month to come and check out the forum, there's more than one way to get on the web (school, work, home, mobile, net cafe, etc)

And Blitz, if half that list makes it to December, I owe you a coke

I don't go to school, I'm 25 years old (unfortunately). I don't have internet access at work. Obviously not at home, that was the entire problem. My mobile doesn't have internet access, and why don't you try finding a net cafe in Wales??

Fact is, I had extremely limited access to the net for 6 months and what access I did (occasionally) have was an ultra-slow dial-up connection. I did try using TPWW a few times on dial up and it was a fucking nightmare.

Ah well... no matter. Oh jeez, how will I cope without the ability to OFFICIALLY record my predictions for the outcomes of predetermined wrestling matches?? I have nobody to blame but myself for missing out on the opportunity to win the STAR PRIZE for coming first at the end of the year, and all the adulation and respect that goes along with that.

I though Tipsters was for fun, not a totalitarian regime. But I missed the deadline and, you know, rules are rules. They are there for a reason. Fun MUST be controlled at all times.

Yes you do have a point. You are an established poster who everyone on here know and would agree that you should be part of tipsters

But....

I've done tipsters before, apart from generally being a royal pain in the ass, it's very annoying to work out peoples scores each month, only to see them leave, now I'm not suggesting you would do that, but letting you in, would allow more newbs to potentially do just that, Blitz's list is fucking huge this year, biggest i've seen. He gave everyone a fair chance, and a month is a long time.

But like you said it's only a tipsters league so what's the big deal

Sorry, that 'Every fucking year' remark wasn't aimed at you, each year a newb sets up his own Tipsters that fails misrably.
