Jeffrey Foucault does a nice cover of "Lodi." I don't remember if that's a CCR tune or a John Fogerty tune, though.

Melissa Etheridge's cover of Tom Petty's "Refugee" is pretty awesome, if I didn't mention it already.

Rocket Man-William Shatner (originally by Elton John)

:shifty:

Kane Knight 01-21-2008 12:58 PM

Dar Williams--Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd) and Echoes (Whoever did the original)

What Would Kevin Do? 01-23-2008 06:55 AM

William Shatner's cover of "Common People" is amazing.
Live and Let Die covered by Guns N' Roses
I like Deadsy's cover of Tom Sawyer, although it's not that different
The Guns N' Roses cover of Sympathy for the Devil is top notch

Right now, I'm listening to a cover of "Stay" (The Lisa Loeb song) by New Found Glory... Not horrible...

What Would Kevin Do? 01-23-2008 06:55 AM

Oh, and everything Richard Cheese does.

The Lone Wolf 01-24-2008 07:12 PM

I love just about every pink floyd cover and i'm not sure if it counts as a cover or not but 10,000 days' packageing is amazing.

Indifferent Clox 01-24-2008 09:29 PM

Do you know what a cover is?

A cover is an artist doing another artists song.

I hope you are being sarcastic. If so PROPS.

Alright, for serious now.

Same song--which I originally couldn't stand--but both covers of it are from people I'd make love to.
