Metal Fans TOP 10

At the moment i am working on a top 100 list for rock/metal songs. I have so far gathered about 500 top ten lists off of people i know and want to see what this site can offer me as far as contributions to my list go. so basically. what i want to see from members here is a top 10 list of songs from the metal/hard Rock genre. I just want to see if the input of posters here would have any impact on the list.

Songs are given a point value, based on where they appear on an individuals list (eg, first on list gets 10 points, second gets 9 points, and so on, down to 1 point for 10th)

Under this scoring system, the top 10 thus far are as follows

1. Megadeth - Holy Wars-punisments due
2. Metallica - Enter Sandman
3. Gamma Ray - Rebellion in Dreamland
4. Iron Maiden - Hallowed be thy name
5. Manowar - Battle Hymns
6. Led Zeplin - Stairway to Heaven
7. Deep Purple - Smoke on the water
8. Metallica - One
9. Gamma Ray - Heading for Tomorow
10. Octavia Sperati - Lifelines of Depth

Holy wars was an amazing song, and I enjoyed it because of the subject of the song obviously. Only thing I disagree with is the fact that Manowar is listed in the top 5.

Don't diss Manowar

Get rid of Gamma Ray and Octavia Sperati though.

please note, list is metal and rock, and this by no means is what i think are the top 10 songs, infact, only 2 of the songs on the list appear in my top 100

How can Gamma Ray be in the top ten twice? Yet Metallica and Megadeth only once... and no Maiden.

Did you honestly ask 500 people? I'm not being sarcastic or nothing, coz I don't even KNOW 500 people.
