Post Rumble Question: Where does this leave Triple H?

I was thinking that they might just throw him in the main-event triple threat style now since Cena supermanned all the hos in the rumble. If not, who will he fued with? Is it possible that he will go into the elimination chamber?

Pardeep 619 01-28-2008 05:59 PM

I'm thinking it could be Orton-HHH-Cena for the WWE Title, and Edge-Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania

I want to see Triple H swing his sledgehammer like helicopter knocking out both Cena and Randy orton. But like for real.

Hopefully - Triple H stays out of the main-event.

If it was up to me, I'd strongly consider Triple H and HBK doing something DX related. Not sure if this would be possible, but have Hall and Nash join HHH and HBK for an 8-man match.

Triple H sulks until he's granted a shot at Mania.

Jura 01-28-2008 06:23 PM

In that ugly brown yellow shirt.

Wins the Elimination Chamber, challenges Batista at WrestleMania for the WHC, wins it and gets traded back to RAW at the draft.

Here is the real question.

If he smacks Cena with the Sledgehammer tonight on Raw will that be the heel turn everyone is talking about for him?

I for one will think he would become a permanent face in my eyes if he did that. Infact he would be god if he botched it and actually knocked Cena out with the hammer!!

Innovator 01-28-2008 07:23 PM

I want HHH vs. HBK

main event caliber match minus the title

Too bad WWE doesn't do anything about crowd responses... You know, except avoid those arenas like the plague.

HHH eliminated Bats, Cena eliminated HHH.

So at NWO - Bats/HHH/Cena/Orton - Fatal Four Way

or

Throw in the fact that Orton beat Hardy and Bats eliminated Kennedy in the Rumble and you get

Bats/HHH/Cena/Orton/Hardy/Kennedy in an Elimination Chamber Match

Cena's mother would pretty much have to be raped, before people cheer for Cena in a high profile match-up.

(Think back to Hogan/Rock 2002, when the nWo assaulted The Rock with an automobile......Hogan still got the cheers at Mania).

The fans LOVE to hate Cena! Period.

Furthermore, the fans LOVE the idea of going against what "the powers that be" tell them to do (hence - optimal emotion exists when the fans 'boo' face Cena).

It's not that difficult of a concept, and I don't understand why more people on here don't get that.

There's a WORLD's difference between "X-Pac Heat" (i.e. get the fuck off my TV screen!) and the heat Cena's getting.

The "litmus test" in differentiating "X-Pac heat" from "desired heat" shouldn't be based on garbage matches and garbage opponents (i.e. Cena vs. Khali). OFCOURSE - "boring" chants will exist! Even The Rock would get a boring chant against Khali.

Cena's later matches with Edge shouldn't be considered as well (since Cena fought Edge about 5 billion times).

The "litmus test" in differentiating "X-Pac heat" from "desired heat", should be in HIGH PROFILE matches. In which case....

1) Cena vs. Triple H (Wrestlemania 2006)
2) Cena vs. RVD (ECW One Night Stand 2006)
3) Cena vs. HBK (Wrestlemania 2007).

In conclusion - John Cena is far and away the BEST thing in wrestling right now (the proof is in the crowd reactions). Deal with it. :)

Hall would probably no-show :(

Possibly HHH V big show at WM, or hhh in the mitb match???

Whoa, hold your horses. The heat John Cena gets is not good. It's just that Cena dominates the entire product, and has been pushed so hard that of course people are going to react. The heat for Cena is reactionary heat to A) the way the WWE has pushed Cena, and B) the women and children cheering him.

If X-Pac got made a three-time WWE Champion against the fans' (for the most part) wishes, then he would get the exact same heat Cena is getting. It's not that they love to boo Cena, it's that they want Cena to disappear the fuck away.

Mr. Nerfect 01-28-2008 10:30 PM

As for where this leaves Triple H, I get the feeling he'll be challenging for the WWE Title.

Londoner 01-29-2008 08:28 AM

Exactly right noid.

I would really like to see them do this, but let HBK turn heel this time. On Monday I was waiting for one of them to turn on the other, but alas, it was another lame DX reunion. The Triple H heel v. HBK face has already been done, and I think it would be fresh to switch it around, especially since HHH is apparently uber over right now.
