Alright folks, tonight was the start of the new shield season. If you havnt seen this show I ask that you see it cause it is one of the best shows out there. Tonights episode was great for the season starter. If you have seen this show I would like to know what you think of it.

But it got cancelled in Australia coz the ratings were too low.

Agreed with best show on TV. I've been waiting months to finally see the episode later on tonight.

So it's only just started in the States? I wondered why there was no sign of the new series over here yet, but I guess that explains it.

A lot of people don't seem to like it that much, but I enjoy it... but then I have dodgy tastes in most things. :cool:

I like it cause it has every thing of a R rated movie but on TV. And the storyline is great and all the actors are great. Definently the best still going show on FX by far.

(I had to add still going in cause Married With Children is the best show ever but no more new episodes for that)

The Shield is the goods, i really liked season 1 ****ing good acting and storyline rocks. :y:

The third season has just started. The show must have started a couple years ago.

I love The Shield. Bought the first series on DVD the day it came out, and I can't wait for the second series to come out on DVD too, but I guess it won't until the 3rd series begins over here.

Its definatly grittier, more interesting and more graphic than a lot of other TV shows and it completly owns every other cop drama on TV.

Fairly sure second season just came out on DVD. I plan on picking it up since I have only seen about half of those episodes.

The Shield is probably my favorite show on tv... Then again, it's probably the only show I watch on TV... And I'm doing a term paper on it :)

Gets a decent-ish timeslot when they show it for the first time.

It's some good shit. I like it how Vik is the bad guy, but you can't help but like the guy.

Just when I didn't think this show would do anything else to "cross the line" unless it was on HBO, they do it. Kick ass show.

I didnt see the new episode yet. I recorded it but fell asleep before it came on. I guess I will have to watch it tonight.

I just watched it last night. Man that was a pretty good episode. I wonder if any of the people will ever find out what really happened to Aceveda. That was one of the things that just pushes the limit on that show. It was horrible to watch but made great tv. Damn Shield Kicks ass.

As for the Aceveda scene...would you? I think I would rather take the bullet.

I doubt he'll die either, but he'll be off the show for a bit I'm thinking.

As far as Aceveda, I'd like to say I wouldn't, but in that actually situation, I don't know...

I'm also wondering how long it'll take Aceveda to question how Mackey knew where to find him.

As for Ta Von. I think they might kill him off. It would add a twist. I thought he was alright but it really through the strike team off. They woudnt let him in on anything and that just sucked.
