So I went to the SmackDown! taping last week
 

I went to the SD taping having not watched SmackDown! for about two years, but I've watched RAW on a regular basis and occasionally caught ECW for Elijah Burke or Shelton Benjamin. I got a cheap seat for the show, and went basically just to see Undertaker since I may not get a chance to again depending on his health.

Anyways, to the point:

I thought SmackDown! was a much better show that RAW in terms of writing and storylines. I didn't know half of the guys, but it seems like SmackDown has something that RAW does not - an UNDER CARD. Imagine that - there are some really great guys there, and MVP as the US Champion is just awesome - I'm glad he's not being pushed too hard too soon. And I didn't even know that Chuck Palumbo had a job anymore, but his feud with Jamie Noble is much more interesting than anything RAW's undercard has to offer. So, while I'll still watch RAW, I think I'm gonna have to pay more attention to SmackDown - it was a pretty good show.

And Jimmy Wang Yang (what the hell kind of name is that) can flat out wrestle.

SD! has pretty always been the superior show.

I've seen 1 live RAW event since the brand extension. But I've seen SD! countless times.

Yeah, Smackdown has been good to great for quite a while. A lot of the stuff going on lately has all been done really well. Even though it's considered the B show, they've got loads of talent worth watching.

I agree, i can stand smackdown alot more than raw, only reason i watch raw atm is cause of the raw thread on tpww, if that didn't exist i think illd stop watchin. I dont even watch the replays we get here in the uk of raw anymore like i used to.

And since we're going to see Maria in Playboy.... Yea, I don't think you can argue both points.

SD has always had the better undercard because Raw raids the main events, leaving SD with little less but the undercard.

I generally dig SmackDown! whenever I watch it. They've had two phenomenal storylines develop over the past year. Matt Hardy/MVP and Jamie Noble/Chuck Palumbo have both been fantastically done.

^ yeah im enjoying the noble/palumbo storyline strangely. When palumbo beat down on noble the other week that was great TV.

Both guys have also been surprisingly good on the mic. I've never thought either guy was horrible, but I'm surprised with the consistent quality.

Palumbo would make an excellent heel. I'd mark out for Jamie Noble referencing his Billy & Chuck days when this feud gets going.
