Gimme some good study music
like music with no words whether it be techno or not. I prefer it be slow. All the study music I have now is from video games and stuff similar.

Explosions In The Sky
Mogwai Caspian Pelican Godspeed! You Black Emperor |
Deltron 3030: The Instrumentals.
|
Yeah I've been on that Explosions in the Sky since I got to college son
|
If you like the classical I would go with a little of the Ludwig Van. Also look into Gustav Holst's The Planets pieces. There is one for every planet and you can get quite focused in those. Buckethead's Colma album is quite relaxing as well. As Frasier said above, anything by Godspeed! or any of their offshoots.

Iron and Wine.
Period. The best study group ever. Also Decemberists and Belle and Sebastian |
Just to clarify, he did say "no words." Well, now words, but we know what he meant.

OOOOOOH
In That Case... What Fake Razor Said. |
Loreena McKennit is nice ambient music and several of her songs are instrumental (Or at least sans lyrics..."Tango To Evora" Has her singing like, "lalalalala...").
I don't remember any of Pinetop Seven's songs having any lyrics, but I could be wrong. 38th Parallel is a great sort of "ethnic" instrumental sound. May be the stray word in a couple songs. |
Pick up the album "Spiderman of the Rings" that's pretty fucking awesome iNstrumnetal shit. Can't remember the artist at the moment.
|
def got esnips and and check these out
|
BTW, Pinetop Seven has a lot of vocals. There are some instrumental tracks. Dunno where I got confused.
