- Bryan Alvarez is reporting that there is backstage heat on CM Punk in WWE. The perception is Punk isn’t paying attention to the agents and is having lackluster house show matches. Whether or not this has something to do with him losing the ECW Championship to Chavo Guerrero is unknown.


I wonder what happens now, since Bobcore is on RAW who can they job Punk out to instead? Hoping that this is just a BS rumor, but we shall see.

Maybe it has something to do with being stuck on the worst show out of the 3? Oh and not getting to wrestle at the rumble when there were only 4 matches.

To add more to this, he probably wonders why I am losing the belt 5 days before the rumble only to see the "world" champion join me in the rumble and then go on to eliminate me.

lol god some stuff people report are just used to get people riled up and have no basis what so ever.

Cause having a good showing at the Rumble including getting some offense on both Taker and HBK, having a good competitive match againts the World Heavyweight Champion, and only losing the ECW Title due to interence from said World Heavyweight Champion equals having heat backstage.

I agree with you KoOS, it just seems like whenever there is a "heat" rumor reported its always about Punk. Last time it was about the jobbing to Holly thing and the "riff" with Hayes. It is probably nothing at all this time around since you already pointed out the good from the rumble and it seems so out of left field to have heat on yourself after locking up with 2 of the bests ever in the rumble match.

I believe Atlas was at an OVW show, and Punk was visiting, and Atlas thought Punk was still in OVW and told him that the way he tapes his hands is wrong and he looks like someone walking to the ring with broken arms which lead to Punk asking him if he even watches any of the shows.

Once again that was another lame piece of smark bait.

The story was supposedly that Atlas saw Punk taping his wrists and told him that if he ever expected to get called up to WWE that he would not be able to wear wrist tape because corporate doesn't like that or some shit.

In a follow up to an earlier report on CM Punk's alleged heat with the WWE for not listening to agents and having lackluster house show matches, rumors are now circulating within those in-the-know that Triple H is personally jealous of CM Punk. This all began last year when CM Punk outpopped the team of Shawn Michaels and Triple H at the Survivor Series. When Triple H brought this to the attention of his wife and Vice-President of Creative Stephanie McMahon, she merely commented that she had "never been eaten out by a dude with a lip ring."

Heat on Punk is far more entertaining than Punk on Heat.

I don't think I believe this. Like KoOS said, he had a good Rumble showing, and even had a middle of the ring spot with the Undertaker.

I just think the reason he's not going to SD yet is because ECW doesn't have any marketable face whatsoever right now. The only substitution that would work right now would be Rey jumping over for a month or two to feud with Chavo.

Instead, they chose to stick with Punk, and they are putting together a nicely built feud between Rey/Punk and Edge/Chavo.

This could be true since it does seems as if Punk really does think that he his better than everyone else, but we will have to see if they just have more in mind for Punk.
