WrestleMania Anthology Question

Hey everyone, I heard that in the WrestleMania Anthology that was recently released that in the later volumes they made some changes. I am just curious as to what changes were made(not the obvious editing of the WWF logo and mentions of WWF)

prolly Benoit being Edited out?

also I heard on the RR dvd some matches such as Triple H's opening match from 97 against Golddust were edited out.

As far as Mania goes, aside from the WWF stuff they also took out music that they don't actually own, like the nWo music.

I also noticed while watching Royal Rumble 2000 they modified the Cactus/Triple H package, so that may have been done. I have the whole set for Mania but haven't watched the last volume.

I hate the fact you can't get this stuff in it's original state. Who wants to watch WrestleMania without Jesse Ventura's commentary? Or watch a Demolition match without the classic entrance theme? Or buy an incomplete show because they simply decided to cut matches out of it?

I believe Ventura's commentary IS still on the complete shows. I assume he actually sued over parts of shows being released (matches) but not complete shows.

I think he sued them for backpay, and now they have to pay him each time they release any footage involving him, including his commentary... therefore, they try to re-dub his work wherever possible, to save money. Singular matches don't matter so much, they just get Cole and Tazz or someone to re-do it, but entire shows I guess they keep him in. Either way, they should just leave it be. Tight fuckers.
