"Bret Hart came home, he's fine. What they did is they murdered this Hitman character."

Avenger 02-03-2008 12:16 PM

come on who hasn't seen this?

Avenger 02-03-2008 12:16 PM

Still good though I guess.

Xero 02-03-2008 12:17 PM

Hey, you know what would be cool? A YouTube thread where we can put the majority of videos in there!

But, alas, it's an impossible dream. :(

Without even clicking on the forum, I knew two things:

RHS posted this, and it was something old.

Avenger 02-03-2008 12:20 PM

HBK and Hunter shouldn't have lied there.

But how can anyone have a problem with them? Bret brought it on himself and they were only doing what their boss asked of them.

Avenger 02-03-2008 12:29 PM

oh no, another Montreal topic

Xero 02-03-2008 12:35 PM

It is an amazing coincidence that one of wrestling's biggest scandals just happened to take place under the watchful glare of a documentary camera.

Probably the first, and maybe only, time a documentary crew has had such access to the backstage area of WWE, and all this unfolds. Makes me wonder.

I really like the what goes around comes around stuff Hart's wife told Hunter, because as we can see he's been paying the price ever since.

As soon as the divorce comes around, he'll be out on his ass. That's karma.

VINCE: Well, as you know...this divorce has made me very sad, but I think it's a sign that things must move on, and that it's time for you to go. I wish you the best on future endeavors...

STEPH: But daddy...

VINCE: NO BUTS! Hunter has a title match in an hour, and I don't want you here to distract him! He's winning number 23 tonight you know!

It's from Wrestling with Shadows. Cameras were following Bret Hart since at least summer (1997).

I know.

NeanderCarl 02-03-2008 05:33 PM

And they'd been following him for about a year, I think, they just understandably chose to focus on the screwjob (and it's build up) as the main structure of the doc.
