I'm going to shoot my burner...
Ok, DaveWadding sent me a cd over AIM a couple of days ago.. The mp3 files play fine off of my hard drive.. Well, when I go to burn them, it first says, "please place recordable cd into drive" or summat.. Well, it's already there, so I click "retry".. It acts like it's gonna burn but then the cd tray opens and it say "an unexplainable error has occured".. When I go to view error it says some computer garbage so I click help.. It says:
Problem:an unexplainible error has occured Solution:retry function  Help?? |
Did you try another blank CD?
|
Try it with a new cd and close the session. If that doesn't work then I don't know.
Could be wrong file type, something wrong with CD, could be an error somewhere. I don't know. |
What program you using to burn cd's?
|
I've tried/wasted lkike ten blank cds...
 p.s.it's Easy CD Creator 5.. |
I got Nero too...
|
Easy cd sucks man, just try it out with nero :) Never had any problems with nero at all. Try it with nero and see what happens...
|
It's working..
 Uhh, do you think these cd's I tried are ruin or are they still usable?? |
Easy CD Creator is complete shit. The only thing I use it for is it's Jewel Case portion.
|
I still haven't gotten the damn drivers for my burner.
I wanna back up all my pictures and documents so I can reformat, cause ym computer is ****ed pretty bad atm. |

**** man that really sucks. YOu can partition your hard-drive if you are desperate to format and as a result have the pics/documents on a seperate hard drive :) Still not found the driver  Call HP and bitch to em! |
If you have XP, just use the XP burner program. It automatically converts file types, and is readable in x-boxes (whereas CD's burned with another program don't work on X-Box in my experience)
