Inverted Atomic Drop

How is this move not considered a low blow and subject to disqualification rules? Looks like a knee to the nuts from where I'm sitting.

Xero 02-12-2008 10:50 PM

Because no one books it as such.

Wooo.

El Fangel 02-13-2008 12:03 AM

The opponent fell unto his knee.

KYR 02-13-2008 12:08 AM

Yeah another one of those WTF's?

The ONLY feasible explanation I can come up with is that the force of the "drop" is on the base of the opponent's spine (not actually his nuts).

Because Heels don't use the move. :shifty:

Seriously, though.

The move is dropping your opponent's coxix on your bent knee. The shock sent up the spine beingthe 'atomic' part.

Xero 04-07-2008 10:43 PM

Except the way the Inverted Atomic Drop is normally performed they are clearly crotched, not positioned to affect only the back.

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 04-07-2008 10:58 PM

The move that hasn't been called the Manhattan Drop on TV since 9/11.

Oh. That may also explain whatever happened to Big Boss Man and Akeem...
