I don't see a big deal. Everyone creams over Madden even when they was competition with real names. You hear anyone saying "COME ONLINE AND PLAY ALL STAR FOOTBALL WITH ME".


It's all about the Madden.

2k5 is still arguably a better football game than Madden. EA are lazy fucks who are content to update rosters once a year, put in about 3 new animations, and then charge full price. 2k5 scared the shit out of them because they realised their precious cash cow was under threat, so they promptly bought out any chance of them competing.

The only thing better about 2K5 was the tap turbo..

It was a sweet game and all, but Madden is better IMO..

I had both Madden 05 and 2k5 and I don't remember it being that much better..

<font color=goldenrod>Madden is getting tiresome...every year I buy it and get hooked then some bullshit thing happens. I thoroughly enjoyed Madden 08...until my Franchise decided to freeze during week one of preseason in the 3rd year :| So now I did 2 full seasons for nothing.

I can't wait until 2kSports' MLB exclusivity deal ends....in 2011.......and it'll prolly get extended :( Or, if Microsoft could pool together and make their own baseball game like Sony did with The Show.</font> :(

Um, the presentation, commentary, Chris Berman in the studio with highlights. Sportscenter showing scores and highlights from current week in your franchise or season mode. And in the graphics every player did not look alike like most of them did in the older Maddens. Some aspects of gameplay like passing was better in madden, but overall 2k5 had everything a football game should be.
