So how do you think the Hornswoggle saga will end?
When Hornswoggle was revealed to be Mr. McMahon's illegitimate bastard son, I (like many) was skeptical. However, as the angle developed, I kind of became a bit of a Hornswoggle mark.
He's been fairly entertaining during his run thus far, and I like that they didn't completely ignore his past affiliation with Finlay. It looks like they're actually using the whole thing to PUSH Finlay now, which I didn't see coming at first. Anyway, no matter how it turns out, it seems to be that it should be ending fairly soon. Maybe as soon as Wrestlemania? How do you think WWE plans on ending the angle? How would you like to see it end? What are your thoughts on Hornswoggle, Finlay, McMahon, or anybody else involved? |
In tragedy

Care to elaborate?

I can see them turning Finlay heel here and joining up with McMahon. Defiant babyfaces are a dime a dozen these days and Finlay would be better off alligning with McMahon. Maybe he helps Vince beat Horny in a career match or something.

I'd actually prefer that. Finlay doesn't really work for me as a face.
|
I can sum up the ending in three words: I still remember.
|
On a side note, wouldn't it be a riot if Swog got suspended for HGH?
|
I don't care. It has gone on long enough. It would be nice if it ended with Vince leaving tv for a year. And them just forgeting about Hornswoogle.
|
On a slightly related note, I've had Hornswoggle's theme song stuck in my head since Monday.

Gay 19th.
|
Won't end soon enough. I am not liking it at all. I'm just tired of Vince on tv.
|
It ends with Glacier returning and giving Hornswoggle the super kick.

It will end in TOTAL NON STOP ACTION!
James Mitchell will come out and say, "Abyss! When you were born...you weren't born alone...your mother had TWINS...and I raised your twin...Abyssoggle!" Hornswoggle runs out in an Abyss mask and proceeds to win a clean match over AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and then over Abyss. Also the commentary team will make clever comments like, "Isn't Abyssoggle's father someone in CONNECTICUT?" "Yeah! James Mitchell's been to Connecticut, sure!". |
Yeah, that's not quite retarded enough for TNA

Like, a small explosion, or a miniature limo explodes?

I really like Finlay. Probably because of that leather jacket he was wearing when Hornswoggle had to kiss Vince's ass.

I've been thinking that it may end with, yes Vince being the biological father and Finlay's "wife" being the mother.
This is the reason a "deal" was struck between Vince & Finlay whereby Finlay wouldn't beat Vince within an inch of his life for messing around with his wife IF he got maybe a title reign or something. Otherwise, I can't see any reason for Finlay's overzealous interest in Swog. |

Finlay and Vince struck up the deal, so it involves them, and it's obviously about Hornswoggle. The only other thing is that Vince stages Hornswoggle being his son, paid off the woman who was blackmailing him (or there never was one), and he's just doing it for attention, and Finlay knows that Hornswoggle is not a McMahon...BECAUSE HE'S HORNSWOGGLE'S FATHER!!!! I hope they leave off the capitalised bit. |
This angle should end the way it should have gone in the first place: Hornswoggle is not REALLY Vince's son, and that was the "deal" that Finlay made with Vince. His son is, in fact, KENNEDY.
|
I think it is too obivious that Hornswoggle will turn on Finlay and stay with McMahon.
Truthfully, I don't want that at all. I want Hornswoggle to stay a face because I just feel that you can't not like him. But it will probably be Hornswoggle going with Finlay and we will have to "forget" about the angle. |
It'll end up with Finlay and Vince being half brothers. The DNA sample was screwed up, and Finlay is really the father. Then after it's revealed Finlay was the father, i's revealed Vince did have a son however. Enter Kennedy. The end.

Heat death of the universe.

Kennedy is revealed as Mr. McMahons real illegitimate son, and Finlay reveals himself as Hornswoggle's real father, and they feud until they settle the score once and for all at SummerSlam.
|
I'm telling you. HGH.
|
Hornswoggle mostly comes out at night... Mostly.
The only way to be sure is to nuke the entire angle from orbit. ... It's the only way to be sure. |
Personally, I'm hoping that during the cage fight, Hornswoggle has a bit of a cliche snap and actually sets in to attack mode. I'm not saying he should beat Vince, but have Finlay come down and pass that bigass shilaleigh thru the fencing. Have Swoggy get a feeling for power and bust ol' Vince in the head, splitting him open. When he's about to swing again, Vince stops him. Swog drops the club and then...they hug.
Next week, Vince comes down to the ring and introduces his new favorite bastard son, H. S. McMahon. Swog comes out all cleaned up in a sharp black suit -- with a green tie, just for good measure -- and takes the mic. He explains that the deal was for Finlay to get a title shot if he found and Vince's long lost son and brought him home, but now that H. S. is home and safe, there's no need to fulfil Daddy's end of the bargain. After all, they now hold all the weight in the deal, and that's what being a McMahon is all about. That's all ya really need. |

Logically, it should all turn out to be a ruse, Hornswoggle living up to his name by orchestrating the entire "court summons/clue-issuing mother/bastard son" storyline from the get go to get his hands on Vince's money.
Then, when the storyline mercifully ends, there will be no lingering aftermath with Hornswoggle being recognised as a McMahon permanently. And maybe ole Horny and Finlay will have gained a little from it. |
I think Hornswoggle should end Flair's career.
|
You know who should end Flair's career? His greatest ever opponent.
Now I've never actually seen one of their legendary matches, but whoever A. Broomstick is, Flair has apparently carried him to so many good matches that it makes sense that at WrestleMania we see Ric Flair vs A Broomstick one final time in a Career Threatening Match. Then they can finally sweep Flair's career under the table for good. And it should have a clean finish. Boom boom. |
I'd like Flair to just disappear and have Kennedy find a note on his locker that reads "Just Forget It".
