Conan O'Brien vs. Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert
 

Did anyone catch this feud? Fucking amazing, in my opinion. I guess while the writers' strike was going, Conan, Stewart and Colbert decided to get together and help each other through, and I am really glad they did.

Conan O'Brien and Stephen Colbert are, in my opinion, comedy geniuses. Jon Stewart, not so much, and I have not been his biggest fan, but the man certainly has his moments. Definitely a capable player.

Anyway, here is the final chapter of their rivalry (over who created presidential candidate Mike Huckabee), which pretty much recaps everything (although you won't see Conan riding a bicycle and mocking Colbert in this one).

I personally hope for more collaborations from them, because this was borderline brilliant, and quite exhilarating as far as talk show personality wars go:

'Twas shit. Noticed two of the three guys even said so themselves. Also, I don't get why people thought Conan was funny throughout this. Do you folks also believe Star Trek is "deep" acting?

I only saw the ep where Conan appeared on A Daily Show, the only bit that made me laugh is when Colbert and Conan were backstage waiting for Stewart, when Coblert said the laughter was put in after the show was taped.

But then I know nothing about this whole thing, apart from the fact that Conan appears to be the tallest man on the planet and also has one of the most odd hair cuts since Donald Trump

Wow, America gets Conan, while Britain gets... Jonathan Ross. We're getting the short end of the stick here.

Nah, it wasn't exactly insightful or anything, but it was pretty funny. It was also quite surreal to see the three working together. That's mainly why it was "amazing."

This is about the only time Jon Stewart has ever been funny, so it deserves mention for that alone.

Colbert was on in this video. Conan was my favourite, because he's just naturally funnier than both guys, in my opinion. "Death for everyone" was the best thing said in the entire thing. Colbert is up there, though. They are two of the few guys out there that I would label "comedy geniuses." David Cross is another who springs to mind, but more for his comedy acting than his actual stand-up.

Australia only gets Rove McManus. He has a pretty sweet sounding name, and seems like a nice guy, but the man is below Jon Steward in terms of "teh funny."

For a while we were rumoured to be getting Vincent D'Onofrio, but alas, it was only a dream. :(

Colbert came off brilliantly during the whole thing which makes sense since it was pretty much his style bit the whole time. Conan was funny but he is just a terrible actor which kinda worked for this feud. I like Stewart but his personality just gets overshadowed by the other two.

It's such a shame we only get the daily show on more 4, I want Colbert dammit!

Also, I didnt find it to be the funniest thing Ive ever seen, I just thought it was halirous how the only reason any of them were doing it was so they could kill time on their shows with no writers, that premise alone made it funny.

I'm sure they had Colbert on More4 for a time, though ages ago. But being at student accommodation most of the time, I don't have access to it.

People wouldn't understand Colbert here.
