The bigger story for me is Tomko and Bernard losing the tag belts.

Not Giant Bernard!!

I'm only interested in the Kurt Angle match and the last two. Tomko seems to have gained a following.

--> "CIRCUIT 2008 NEW JAPAN ISM" <--
Shinsuke Nakamura does the impossible, forcing Kurt Angle to tap out, bringing home the IWGP 3rd Belt while successfully defending his 2nd Belt, and unifying the two! Is the change of generation in New Japan now complete? Full details later (and yes, Nagata vs. Goto was cancelled at the last minute after it was revealed Nagata has some brain abnormalities that could have been worsened if he wrestled).

From Meltzer...

Quote:

Yuji Nagata, 39, a two-time IWGP heavyweight champion, was rushed to the hospital earlier today when he showed up at Tokyo Sumo Hall for the New Japan show complaining of severe pain in the brain and no control of the left side of his body.

According to those backstage, Nagata was speaking clearly, which was a good sign. His right side was fine. He said he had severe headaches two weeks ago but continued to wrestle and never got them checked out. Doctors at the show thought he may have suffered a stroke.

I was wondering whats up with his facial expressions during his match with Angle. I thought he was going to mess himself up if he was doing that on purpose.

Yeah, he always makes weird faces during matches. That has nothing to do with this... Although it really sounds like a stroke :(

Ya I hope Yuji gets better
