Yeah, they're pretty underwhelming as World Tag Team Champions. I was kind of against them teaming, because to me it doesn't make any sense. Why would Cody Rhodes want to learn from Hardcore Holly? What could Holly teach Rhodes that his father, a multi-time World Champion, couldn't? It would have made more sense for Cody to tell Holly to go fuck himself, and then get some singles wins over him.
On a semi-related note, it seems a lot of Holly's tag team runs just end. On RAW, Holly has Charlie Haas and Val Venis, both of whom he teamed with while on SmackDown!. I'm not sure if either of these teams breaking up were ever addressed. I think Val Venis moved over to RAW, and Charlie Haas was fired, and that was the last we ever heard of either of them. I'd prefer Holly teaming with Charlie Haas more than Cody Rhodes. Super Crazy should be teaming with Val Venis, rather than Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Val Venis speaks Spanish, and competed in Mexico for a while, so they at least make sense from a cultural understanding point. Super Crazy trying to crack it in the porn business is comedy gold waiting to happen.
So yeah, the thrown together teams on RAW are pretty much all muddled up. The main focus of the division should also be Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, as well as Paul London & Brian Kendrick. I think they should have been in a Ladder Match on the RAW XV anniversary show, because Jeff Hardy had a big PPV match coming up, and Carlito had just be re-signed, so sticking him in a dangerous match might not have been good timing.
Of course, the Tag Team Ladder Match I am most looking forward to, is the potential John Morrison & The Miz vs. Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore vs. The Edge Heads vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick match for the WWE Tag Team Titles when London & Kendrick are traded back to SmackDown!.
