So what's he gonna do?

I'm guessing Flair and HBK face off. I can't see them having him face Batista for his last match, and they already planted a seed for HBK/Flair on Raw I'd say.

So what's he gonna do? Money in the bank? It's just strange to think he's not in a high profile/main event match yet, and from the looks of the available wrestlers or programs, he isn't going to be.

MITB i reckon. Doesn't seem like his sort of match though.

That's all I could think of. It just seems they wouldn't put him in MITB. I mean, he's their other golden boy. I'm suprised he isn't in one of the main events...yet.

Maybe they were gonna put him against Lashley or something. I bet he faces Umaga, or somehow gets himself involved in the WWE title or McMahon storyline.

Theres of course a simple solution. Orton and him should have had their long teased fued/match for Mania after Orton dropped the belt to Cena. And Cena/Hardy/HHH should be the Raw triple threat after a contreversial elimination chamber draw finish. Oh well.

Wow imagine (even though it wont happen) if Bats didn't even appear in a match at Wrestlemania. I would LOL.

Batista will probably face The Great Khali in a match that we are meant to care about because Khali is big. Either him, or Big Daddy V. Or, if they really want to make Batista look strong, he will go over BDV, Khali and Henry (all end in and "ee" sound), maybe with Kane as a tag team partner, or something.

Batista will do something we won't care about, that's my prediction.

Actually, with Rey Mysterio injured, and the chances of him working WrestleMania are reduced, Batista would make sense as a possible partner for Floyd Mayweather. He's one of the WWE's biggest attractions, and he's good friends with Rey in storylines, so it would make sense he'd stand up for his little buddy.

Big Show & Shane McMahon vs. Batista & Floyd Mayweather? It'd be the most exciting thing Batista would have done since WrestleMania 21, in my opinion. Then Kane could be free to be in MITB, and we might not even get BDV, Khali or Henry on the card. Too hopeful?

Well if Matt isn't back in time I want MVP to be Floyds partner. The word is that Mayweather is gonna play a heel role. It'd be great to see them training together and coming out with entourages and having press conferences and such. It'd be great exposure for MVP at this stage in his career too.

Haven't fans been booing Show though? Oh yeah thats right, WWE logic... If the fans boo, push them as a face, and hard.

I think they booed Show because he was doing heel shit. If they decide to switch it, it isn't gonna be hard. Mayweather has a heel attitude and such anyways

Fair enough, I havent seen Raw this week, and after I flicked through the raw thread I see that they booed Mayweather a bit as well. You're right, it wouldn't be hard.

MVP would be a great partner for Mayweather. They could also play off it, and maybe get Evander Holyfield to be Big Show's partner.

If they did go with Mayweather & Batista, though, I actually wouldn't mind it if Shane McMahon stepped out of the match, and played the manager for Big Show & Chavo Guerrero. I can't think of anything better for Chavo to do at WrestleMania, besides job to CM Punk, and it might be better for Punk to be in MITB. The union of Show & Chavo could be easily explained, too. Chavo used to be good friends with Mayweather, so maybe they can make out that he and Chavo used to be "friends" too.

To me Shane and Big Show are the faces. Mysterio and some boxer I don't give a f*ck about are the heels.
And WWE booking won't change that, not for me anyway. Not because I want to be awkward, I just like Big Show and Shane much more.

Batista will win some random match that lets him get a Title Shot at Backlash. Edge vs. Batista for the belt. BLAHHH.

My first thought that he was going to get into the main event the way that Cena did. Actually, almost entirely a mirror situation. Then I remembered that they'd been through the three-way situation before, so they might not do that. Really, I can't immediately see him any where else, other than in the main event.

But, one of the most solid ideas is to put him on the other end of the Big Show-Merryweather fued. Then, when Rey comes back they can have those two do some tag-team stuff before shoving one or both back into the main event scene.

The Undertaker will be World Heavyweight Champion heading into Backlash, I believe. Probably for a rematch of some sorts against Edge. Batista will be sent to RAW in the apparent post-WrestleMania draft.

What's Dave going to do on Raw, Alienoid?

Overpopulate the roster, become one of a dozen over babyface main eventers on Raw (who have 2 heels to work with). He'll prob be given Jeff Hardys place on the roster and leave Smackdown even more empty.

If and when he gets moved ro Raw they'll probably throw away his fued with Cena and have them just randomly fued for the belt in the middle of the summer on a random PPV instead of building it up huge for a Wrestlemania main event like it should be.

Well... not really. They teased Umaga vs "A SmackDown Representative". I'd wager it's Batista too, but it's not confirmed, and they didn't especially hint Bats as the SD guy.

I figured it would be Kane, but Batista also works.

Whats funny about it is that on the main page of WWE, the last headline news story is Umaga vs an unnamed opponent and it's clearly Batista's outline. Not that that usually means anything, since usually they pick a random superstars silouette. But maybe they just got lazy

Hold on, Umaga vs. Batista would actually interest me. And seeing as RAW has to always look better than SmackDown!, Umaga would therefore defeat Batista.

(Just so no one asks, I know Batista will go over. I still think he will then be drafted to RAW.)

I'd actually mark out for an Umaga vs. Kane match, too. Umaga & Paul Burchill vs. Kane & Batista would be pretty sweet.

Kane & Batista is a delicious tag team.

I hate thrown together tag team matches, especially on a WrestleMania.

Go back and watch WrestleMania 2000, and then tell me Kane and Dave Batista vs Umaga and Paul Burchill is still a good idea.

Triple H vs. Orton vs. Batista vs. Cena
 

Personally - I would've added BATISTA to the Orton/HHH/Cena match (making it a fatal four way). This would be similar to what the WWE did in 2000 (Triple H, The Rock, Big Show, Mick Foley).

Speaking of that 2000 main-event, Mick Foley wasn't added in until the very end.....and so it's not like it's impossible to do the same with Batista.

Here's what I'd do (or would have done)

-Next week on RAW, it's announced that a MAJOR TRADE has taken place between RAW and Smackdown....and the deal will be announced next week on RAW.

-A week later (HHH, Cena, and Orton are all in the ring).....when Regal comes out., We learn that Jericho and Jeff Hardy have been traded to Smackdown......for Batista! Batista then comes out. Regal then announces that he's been added to the main-event.
