my taskbar is gone
 

windows XP home edition, my little task bar at the bottom of the screen is gone. i think i hit something but i dont know what i hit, uh what do i do?

Oh yeah well the bar at the bottom of my internet explorer thing is gone.

Savior: Open IE > View > Status Bar

AssMan: Hover your mouse on all sides of your screen to see if you moved it to a different side and it's hidden. If you find it right click and go to properties. Uncheck Auto-Hide the taskbar.

Nope, wasn't there.
It acts as if the toolbar is there, it just isnt. The little centimeter of space where the toolbar should be is there, but it just shows my background. I cant click on it either.
I'm sure its just a temporary thing but w/e.

You probably shrunk it. If there is that little tiny bar at the bottom then hover it until it is the 2 arrow icons <-> (that but vertical) and hold down and drag up.

Well i restarted my comp and now its back
