Speaking of Scenarios

How about the wwe pressing the reset button after wrestlemania and comeback with a new concept where
they will showcase 2 wwe shows in a week with no brand divisions. Only a single roster. Unify all the respective belts at backlash and start over again. They can have one show on monday and the other one on saturday.

Hardly a new concept is it? Grasping at Attitude-days straws.

We've gone over this before, the WWE has alot of contracts. So many contracts and wrestlers and different schedules that need to be waxed that they have to have two different shows with two different rosters.

Saturday is a dead spot for shows. They'd need primetime during the week if they're going to change things around.

Then there's the problem of talent not being used. They have three brands (And 5+ hours of TV a week) and not everyone is used - how are they going to get enough time in two shows with the current roster? If the rosters are combined then you have AT LEAST 10 top tier players. With them taking up the TV time there won't be much time for lower card talent. Everything is fine now as far as brands go, it maximizes (well, not ENTIRELY the way they book, but pretty well) the talent used while not having many wrestlers taking up time on multiple shows.

And if WWE were to release a bunch of talent they'd be out A LOT of money up front depending on how contracts are written. I assume that unless they violate something they need to be paid their guarantee.

Really, the brand split is a positive thing overall. It's sloppy right now, like the entire WWE, but without it WWE has alot of problems.

That sums it up.
