Hatebreed/Lamb Of God
 

Im looking for more bands like these. Im trying to find out more bands to give recommendations to a few people who are looking for new bands to check out. Problem is..they're mostly into the sorta metal liek these bands, mostly bar and power chords, no solos or anything of the sort really..


Meh, anywho. Suggestions?

Hmm, I'll put my thinking cap on and get back to you with some suggestions.

Might take a while though, since I find Hatebreed dull and at times annoying, and Lamb of God boring in anything more than small doses.

Hatebreed and Lamb of God are not Metal. If you want something from that kind of music, I personally recommend Dillinger Escape Plan.

Er, not to piss on your parade, but DEP aren't particularly metal either.

And Asphyxy, please, don't be a dick. Lamb Of God are a metal band....

I just downloaded some Lamb Of God - they might be metal, but they still suck.

Alright, so they're not metal. My bad :-\ Anywho, those are the type of bands im looking for. I'll check out DEP.

For the love of God, no. He'll hate Dillinger, they're nothing like Hatebreed or Lamb Of God.

Just try stuff like God Forbid, Shadows Fall, Unearth... stuff that's not quite full on metal. Some Mastodon wouldn't hurt either.

I only like one Lamb of God song.

Listen to Avenged Sevenfold, they sound similar to Iron Maiden/In Flames.

I only like about 3 of them... the rest I've heard bore me shitless.

Avenged Sevenfold are alright musically from what I've heard, but as people they're dicks. Not only do they have stupid names and a crap image, but they somehow think they can get away with calling Converge "talentless" and "shitty", just because they made fun of their names. So defensive...

Hmm, I've never met them in real life, or read interviews by them.

Their names are stupid though, I agree.

Unearth, Sworn Enemy, Terror, Throwdown, Madball.

Ok. Does that make them not a metal band? That not a sarcastic comment or something, I'm just uneducated. :$

They're a metal band, just not a very original or creative one...
