Kane Knight 02-27-2008 12:28 PM

The Dixie Chicks one is called "Shut up and sing." Never seen it, because I don't like the Dixie Chicks, but they hyped it on Bill Maher.

Thanks Sascha for reminding me about Metal: A HeadBangers Journey.

El Vaquero de Infierno 02-29-2008 07:02 AM

I saw a documentary on rap/hip hop around a year ago. But all it seemed to be about was cameras following and filming a rappers entourages getting blowjobs from desperate fans and whores.

The VH1 documentaries aren't half bad. I particularly liked 'Heavy: the Story of Metal' and 'The Seven Ages of Rock.'

Metal: A Headbanger's Journey

just for the interview with Mayhem

Blitz 02-29-2008 08:13 PM

The best part in A Headbanger's Journey is when they're interviewing this one guy, can't remember who, but he's a satanist. And they're talking to him in this dark like red lit room and he's sitting on this ornate chair and dressed in a suit and I think he's got a goblet or something. And they ask him a question, don't remember what, but dude just sits back and takes like this dramatic pause and answers, "Satan". Just the way he says it is the most rofl thing.

I was watching something on VH1 and it was a rock and roll documentary. And they showed this 80's band memeber sitting in a pool guzzeling a whole bottle of vodka. It was unreal and awsome.

I don't remember which VH1 doc that was from...but the clip they showed is from The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years
