First was awesome, but think I'll wait awhile before getting this one.

Yeah.. first was great, but alas it was very unpolished and the weapons were somewhat unbalanced. There were small glitches that made it aggravating, but eventually you just learned to adapt to them. The 2nd one looks nice.. but it also looks to be mostly the same game, just with improved graphics. Makes me wonder if they fixed the small things or not.

Can't wait for this game, I'll be picking it up on release.

That's exactly what I figured this game would be. I guess in a way that's good but for $60 I don't think that's good enough.

Which is good enough for me, considering I loved the first. A more polished and better looking version of the game with a few new features (from what I've read) will be great for me. Some games are better when they aren't changed completely in the sequel. It will be enough of a game for me to play it over CoD4 now.

I'm going to wait more reviews from people on here who just got it.

If it is like COD4 I will buy it.

Yeah.. it is better in a different way. I like the gameplay more than CoD4's gameplay. But at the same time, I love CoD4's concept and leveling system, as well as polish a lot more.

Nah, it is not a sim any more than CoD4 is. It is more of a small-scale tactical game though. They have an amazing cover system that shits all over the way Gears of War did it. And there is a HUGE difference between people that are good and people that are only decent. A friend and I used to play with this guy BOAT45. We would just seriously dick around every game and never lose. We used to do things like use pistols only, or wear no armor just to make it harder and we would still destroy people. While playing with me friend and I, and Boat.. we lost maybe 2 games in the 2 and a half months we played with him. Obviously he had a lot to do with us doing good, because we would lose some when he wasn't around. But we hardly did shitty. He simply knew what to do to make sure we didn't die, and we knew what to do to make sure he didn't die. Honestly, I am freaking pumped about this game just thinking about old times. Boat better play this god damn game when it comes out.

I hope they release a demo for this, as I dont think there was a demo for the first one and I dont buy games unless I can try 'em out.

Appearently I'm a CGB player, as that's my highest level. Get my P90 at Level 10. Always fancy'd myself a long range guy but the truth is out.

Because I was an elite in the last game I had this little gift pack thing and I started off as a specialist. Now the private first class achievement is glitched up for me.

Beat it last night, in coop. Awesome how you can go through on coop and get the story achievements instead of doing it yourself. Was extremely short. Took maybe 4 hours? Almost maxed out on the ACES, minus the Assault which I'm at like 7. :wtf:

That is pretty gay.. the fact that they gave you rank right off the bat. Not that that is a high rank or anything, but considering ranks in the last game were glitched to all fuck and you could get to elite in less than a week of glitching... it's pretty stupid to reward people for being high rank before. :-\

They've fixed the majority of boosting glitches now... Having to quit and remake a match is pretty sly though...
also total conquest is an amazing game mode, got 4 kills in a row protecting one of our points then the timer runs out and I miss my acheive. gay.

Got the realistic story and t hunts achievements last night.

Decided to get this yesterday, only tried online so far, but still used to COD controls so not doing too good at the moment.

Well they dropped the points needed by 1/3, and it's gotten incredibly easy to obtain large points. And also the fact that you get points from a kill on t-hunt, not by finishing the map. And you get the points your teammates get too.

I'm kind of disappointed that they didn't come up with a better ranking system than the last game. At least something that was somewhat as good as CoD4's. But at the same time I guess since they didn't come up with something better I'm kind of glad it got easier because it was annoying in the last game trying to rank up just to get one or two things that you really wanted that were badass.

Once you hit Captain in the last one, there was no real need to go farther.

So is the multiplayer worth buying this game for or what?

Assuming it hasn't changed -too much- from the original. Yes.

TBH this is rubbish... not that good of maps and you rank up way too easy... my friend is elite already and he's only played like 3 days max
