I was thinking about it the other day.....and I just thought of the awesomeness of the first ONS :D

Does that clip have the un-edited "Enter Sandman" theme playing? Been looking for that. I hate how they edited it out. Metallica can eat my sphincter.

Yeah, great theme, i got a feeling had sandman been allowed to use that entrance in wwecw, things might've been different for him.

Even though Sandman is one of the few wrestlers where the music is actually important to the character (as opposed to, say, Cena) he still would have been booked the same way.

If they had wrestling bookers who knew what they were doing he could have been huge. Otherwise, nothing would have changed.

I was there that night at ONS. It was such an amazing moment to get caught up in as the whole crowd sang "Enter Sandman". I remember looking up at the RAW and SD! wrestlers in the balcony during this and they were all looking on like they couldn't believe how the whole crowd got into it.

I love it when the guy grabs Sandman's cane and starts caning himself.

Was Kurt Angle singing along?

Because that would have been hilarious.

You'd think Sandman would have Fragile-X syndrome now from smashing the can into his head for so many years.

So did they play the actual song at the event and then edit it for TV?

They actually played it on the PPV.....they edited it for the DVD.

It's his wife.

for me it has to be austins enterance that stands out for me, especially during the attitude era, as soon as the glass shattered the crowd went nuts and someone was about to have a can of ass whip opened up on them.

Listening to the WHOLE EFFING CROWD singing along was awesome. I remember how incredible that was. Definitely one of, if not the best entrance of all time. :D

It sounds almost piped in, that's how unified and loud the crowd was in singing along with Sandman's TRUE theme.

Taker's entrance gets more and more epic every fuckin year at Mania

Either Jeff Hardy's on pot again, or that's a baby.

And what about Paul Burchill's pirate entrance? That was always entertaining, that sly look he gave the camera, followed by the swing. I loved his mannerisms throughout his entrance.
