I think I'm getting a PS2 this weekend.

KB Toys has 20% off the whole store on Sat and Sunday.

I paid about £300 for mine. It came with two games (GT3 and Crazy Taxi), memory card, steering wheel and an extra controler.

i got it around $200. i think you should wait for PS3 or just buy an xbox.

I got mine for 300 came with 2 games two controllers and 1 memory card.

I have never had a problem with my playstation 2 :o

You're refering to the Disk Read Errors and those are corrected in the new versions of the PS2. They are practically bug free unless you drop it and smash it with a hammer.

Xbox's are just as accident prone as the PS2s on the market today.

Get a PS2. The new GTA comes out this year. :D

I'm going w/ PS2. I'll probably only get sports games and the people I'd want to play over the net have a PS2.

Madden, NHL, Golf, that will probably be it for me.

As for the "PS3" everything I've read is it's a few years away, there supposivly going to release something in between called the "game center" or something.

Madden 2K3 rules all.

If you want to play Madden, or any EA Sports title online, you will have to get a PS2 because they don't like Xbox Live.

Of course it will take me a week to remember to set it up, and probably a lot longer to get used to the controls.
