Official ECW Thread (3/04/08): Punk vs. Chavo...AGAIN

Yeah.

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 09:58 PM

I guess they already taped ECW so I spoiled the show for myself.

Doesn't look to promising.

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:00 PM

I have a feeling Morrison and Miz will retain.

Suicidal Icon 03-04-2008 10:05 PM

They need a bigger roster.

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:05 PM

Hooray, you lost. Way to go dumbass.

Mr. Nerfect 03-04-2008 10:11 PM

I wonder if the WWE has plans to put Miz and Morrison on WrestleMania as a tag team? I can see them in MITB, but I can also see them defending the belts. I'm thinking a disqualification win for Dreamer & Delaney tonight, so that they can re-challenge, and it makes M&M look like cocks.

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:13 PM

I bet Stevie is going to job.

Heros Welcome 03-04-2008 10:15 PM

But STEVIE IS TAKIN OVER..

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:17 PM

BYE BYE STEVIE

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:17 PM

AINT NO STOPPIN ME NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:20 PM

Ain't no stopping me now is a double negative, he is basically saying that he can and will be stopped.

That's why he is where he is.

Xerzes 03-04-2008 10:21 PM

Well, that's more wins for Stevie in the last month than in 2003-2006, so..hooray?

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:21 PM

I can't believe someone would squirt mayonnaise all over Carlito's shoulder.

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:25 PM

It would have been funnier if the backup was covered up by Santino in a speedo.

Heros Welcome 03-04-2008 10:26 PM

James Curtis is the epitome of Jobber

Xerzes 03-04-2008 10:26 PM

Is Kane part of the ECW roster yet?

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:27 PM

lol Chuck Palumbo?

Heros Welcome 03-04-2008 10:27 PM

Well that was quick

And yet he is on TV more than Mike Knox.

Jura 03-04-2008 10:30 PM

Shelton looks more muscular than he used to be.

I get the can, but I do not detect the will.

Stevie Richards is pretty fucking great. I've been loving him recently. Hopefully his push will continue.

I have no clue as to what will be happening with the title matches tonight. I can see either match going to either party. Either that's a testament to ECW's booking, or they just have nothing to build to. I think it's the second one.

The only way the WWE can really put together a WrestleMania-quality ECW Title Match at this point, is to have either CM Punk or Chavo Guerrero defend against Rob Van Dam. Pay him a lot of money to come back for one, or a few, appearances. The odd guy out can be in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I'm thinking CM Punk vs. Rob Van Dam would be the better ECW Title match choice, and Chavo Guerrero can be in MITB.

Of course, I'm doped up right now.

Heros Welcome 03-04-2008 10:34 PM

Punk MIC TIME!?

The sad thing is, he could become the epitome of awesome if he was allowed to do his strut again. Best...strut...ever. Sorry, Flair.

I miss Aaron Stevens. I can't believe that guy got released. Good wrestler, good talker. I could probably upgrade both to "great" too (in relative terms). The WWE did a bad job of explaining the KC James/Idol Stevens tag team, and I guess they got the blame for not catching on.

Hopefully Stevens gets some work in the new OVW, where he could be one of their shining jewels.

Volchok 03-04-2008 10:37 PM

this show is so exciting i can barely contain myself.:|

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:44 PM

Guerrero means Alcoholic

RGWhat316 03-04-2008 10:51 PM

Inno is MIA, I'm a one man show. :'(

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:57 PM

I think Punk won't win the title until Chavo violates Wellness again.

RGWhat316 03-04-2008 10:57 PM

Now if Punk would have used the anaconda vice after the bulldog, he would already be champion.

KingofOldSchool 03-04-2008 10:59 PM

That was the same finish they did the other night.

RGWhat316 03-04-2008 10:59 PM

My early prediction for WM was Punk/Shelton, but could still happen.

RGWhat316 03-04-2008 10:59 PM

Frog splash and done.

Testicle 03-04-2008 10:59 PM

YESS!!! Do the job you bitch. That will show you to be over with the fans.

Shelton is in Money In the Bank.

Heros Welcome 03-04-2008 11:03 PM

I don't really like Punk losing clean again. I mean yeah they can sell the injury as a big factor but still. I would have liked either a dirty win, or a double count out after a big move. I don;t really wanna see Punk winning another #1 contenders match. They should have just made a rematch inevitable based on the finish. Which could lead to an Extreme Rules match at Mania.

He does seem to be losing more and more matches clean. But hey, you can't win em all. (unless you're super cena)

Mr. Nerfect 03-05-2008 02:16 AM

To me, the only option left for this feud, is for CM Punk to enter the Money in the Bank Ladder Match now, as a possible stepping stone to get to Chavo. Punk could also tease heading to either RAW or SmackDown! to challenge for the World Championships there.

As for Chavo Guerrero, I've got no clue what is going on for him. My guess is that he defends the ECW Championship randomly against someone like Kane. I'm still hoping the WWE throws a briefcase of money in Rob Van Dam's direction, and they have RVD come back, at least for the evening. Fuck, he worked the RAW XV show, who's to say he won't work WrestleMania?
