Official ECW Thread (3/04/08): Punk vs. Chavo...AGAIN
Yeah.
I guess they already taped ECW so I spoiled the show for myself.
Doesn't look to promising. |
I have a feeling Morrison and Miz will retain.
They need a bigger roster.
Hooray, you lost. Way to go dumbass.
I wonder if the WWE has plans to put Miz and Morrison on WrestleMania as a tag team? I can see them in MITB, but I can also see them defending the belts. I'm thinking a disqualification win for Dreamer & Delaney tonight, so that they can re-challenge, and it makes M&M look like cocks.

I bet Stevie is going to job.
But STEVIE IS TAKIN OVER..
BYE BYE STEVIE
AINT NO STOPPIN ME NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW
Ain't no stopping me now is a double negative, he is basically saying that he can and will be stopped.

Well, that's more wins for Stevie in the last month than in 2003-2006, so..hooray?
I can't believe someone would squirt mayonnaise all over Carlito's shoulder.
It would have been funnier if the backup was covered up by Santino in a speedo.
James Curtis is the epitome of Jobber
Is Kane part of the ECW roster yet?
lol Chuck Palumbo?
Well that was quick

Stevie Richards is pretty fucking great. I've been loving him recently. Hopefully his push will continue. I have no clue as to what will be happening with the title matches tonight. I can see either match going to either party. Either that's a testament to ECW's booking, or they just have nothing to build to. I think it's the second one. The only way the WWE can really put together a WrestleMania-quality ECW Title Match at this point, is to have either CM Punk or Chavo Guerrero defend against Rob Van Dam. Pay him a lot of money to come back for one, or a few, appearances. The odd guy out can be in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I'm thinking CM Punk vs. Rob Van Dam would be the better ECW Title match choice, and Chavo Guerrero can be in MITB. Of course, I'm doped up right now. |
Punk MIC TIME!?

I miss Aaron Stevens. I can't believe that guy got released. Good wrestler, good talker. I could probably upgrade both to "great" too (in relative terms). The WWE did a bad job of explaining the KC James/Idol Stevens tag team, and I guess they got the blame for not catching on. Hopefully Stevens gets some work in the new OVW, where he could be one of their shining jewels. |
this show is so exciting i can barely contain myself.:|
Guerrero means Alcoholic

Was out so just got home in time for the main event. Usually a longer thread than this.

I think Punk won't win the title until Chavo violates Wellness again.
Now if Punk would have used the anaconda vice after the bulldog, he would already be champion.
That was the same finish they did the other night.
My early prediction for WM was Punk/Shelton, but could still happen.
Frog splash and done.
YESS!!! Do the job you bitch. That will show you to be over with the fans.

I don't really like Punk losing clean again. I mean yeah they can sell the injury as a big factor but still. I would have liked either a dirty win, or a double count out after a big move. I don;t really wanna see Punk winning another #1 contenders match. They should have just made a rematch inevitable based on the finish. Which could lead to an Extreme Rules match at Mania.

To me, the only option left for this feud, is for CM Punk to enter the Money in the Bank Ladder Match now, as a possible stepping stone to get to Chavo. Punk could also tease heading to either RAW or SmackDown! to challenge for the World Championships there.
As for Chavo Guerrero, I've got no clue what is going on for him. My guess is that he defends the ECW Championship randomly against someone like Kane. I'm still hoping the WWE throws a briefcase of money in Rob Van Dam's direction, and they have RVD come back, at least for the evening. Fuck, he worked the RAW XV show, who's to say he won't work WrestleMania? |
