Indie Sex
 

I was bored with Netflix one day and just rented a bunch of documentaries for the hell of it. Indie Sex was one of them. So far, I'm 1:04:00 into it, and it's great. It's a very detailed look at sex in movies, from the dawn of motion pictures, through the "golden age" before censorship, to the founding of the MPAA, right up to YouTube and modern day non-censorship. There are two discs, so I'm gonna watch the 2nd one and let you guys know how it is.

But seriously, if you're ever looking into watching a documentary, rent Indie Sex. I still have another one to watch that is also about the MPAA, but about how inconsistent they are about rating movies and how obsolete certain ratings rules are.

Holy shit, there are two hour-long programs per DVD. I'm on program 2 of 4, still disc 1. This is about teenage sexuality in movies. Good stuff.

Yeah, the one about the MPAA (This Film is Not Yet Rated) is phenominal. Haven't gotten to indie sex yet, here it's great though.
