Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV
 

Downloaded it today, though I skipped all the extra stuff that came with it and just got the music. It's a 36 track instrumental album, and I have to say I like it a lot. It is something very soothing to listen to in the background while I'm just surfing the web. It was also released as a digital download, and is pretty cheap from what I've read.

There are suspected to be more volumes released in the future.

I think only the first disc is available through digital distribution, or something like that. I really like this "experiment" that's going on: You can buy a gimped version of various records online, or you can get them free through torrents, full versions in higher quality.

Anyway, I'm gonna buy this at some point because I own almost everything NIN has put out, but I haven't heard it yet. The drummer for the Dresden Dolls is on the record.

Nah, the first disc is the only one you can download for free, but you can pay a small amount to download the full thing - think the downloads are meant to be pretty good quality too.

I've got it, but I've not had a chance to listen to much beyond a few tracks yet. Seems ok.

All in all it isn't something I could listen to all the time. It's suited for more of an ambient sound while I'm doing something else. Of course, that doesn't mean the music isn't good. It's pretty great. Have to be in the right mindset for it really.

I love everything NIN and I'll have to check this out. There instrumentals always sound great.
