A Ten Year Grudge?????

I'm sorry if anything has been mentioned about this elsewhere.

Erm Yeah, on Raw, HBK told Benoit something about "This is about settling a nearly 10 year grudge with Tripple H".
Hmm, an exaguration maybe?
Maybe saying "A grudge that's been going on for over 5 years" or something like that?
Shiiiit. Tripple H and HBK hated each other even before Hunter Joined the WWF, and their whole real life friendship has been one huge work!! Shock!!

Sounds reasonable....

Seriously, wrestling is about exaggeration. And they prolly really expect that we have goldfish-like attention spans.

Paranoid Rattlesnake 03-13-2004 03:22 PM

The fueded around 95 though didn't they???

Darkone 03-13-2004 03:36 PM

Perhaps they should have used relationship.

Then I could have brought up that quote about hunter being Bi about alot of things, but Lingual isn't one of them.

Mr. JL 03-13-2004 03:52 PM

I am sick of Triple H. And HBK for that matter.

Nowhere Man 03-13-2004 04:37 PM

It's kind of like how they keep exaggerating how big the Hell in a Cell cage is. Every time they tell about it, it gets a little bigger. What's it up to now, 500 or 600 feet?

Gerard 03-13-2004 05:11 PM

Just like on raw lawler stated that the ring weighed 10,000 pounds..... Far as i remember they said the elimination chamber weighed 2 tons so a bare ring is obviously gonna be heavier... :wtf:

PureHatred 03-13-2004 05:47 PM

That's right..the ring weighs 5 tons. What's the problem?

And if HBK has really hated Trips since the get go, that would totally explain Chyna...

Hunter: Seriously, Shawn, you think it's good for my image to be escorted to the ring by a hulking she-beast who looks tougher than I do?

Shawn: Hey, who told you that getting pig slopped would do wonders for your career? I did. Have I ever led you wrong?

Hunter: no...

Shawn: Exacly. As a matter of fact, why stop with the professional relationship? Why not start boinking her on the side?

Hunter: Really?...OK, if you think it's a good idea...

Shawn: (laughs hysterically as Hunter wanders away)

Cast iron weaving makes up the ropes and mat.

Kane Knight 03-13-2004 05:51 PM

It's so no-one tries to walk away with it.

John la Rock 03-13-2004 05:55 PM

whatever, it doesn't mean shit

Kane Knight 03-13-2004 05:56 PM

Very much like 99% of the verbage in wrestling.

Corkscrewed 03-14-2004 02:36 AM

WWE exagerrates. I mean, remember when Triple H's limo was dropped 20 feet from the top of a forklift? Then it was 30 feet. Then 50 feet.

That was funny because the drop more than doubled in a week.

It's a wonder HHH didn't get killed from the inflation alone...

JR does this all the time

Ric Flair puts on the figure 4
"FLAIR IS BREAKING HIS LEGS, BY GOD HE WONT BE ABLE TO WALK AFTER THIS"

Hbk does sweet chin music
"BY GOD HIS HEAD JUST GOT KICKED OFF, LITERALLY"

austin does the stunner on the rock:
(JR stands up on the announce table with his arms in the air as if he just became wwe champion) "BY GOD THE STUNNER, HE'S DEAD, HE'S NOT GOING TO GET UP FROM THAT, AUSTIN NEEDS A DAMN LAWYER IN ALL MY YEARS IN THE BUSINESS I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE TAKE SUCH A BEATING, THE ROCK IS DEAD FOLKS, DEAD!...... BY GOD THE ROCK KICKED OUT!!!!!!!!!"

Triple h does pedigree
"JUST CUZ TRIPLE H HAS A BIG NOSE DOESN'T MEAN HE NEEDS TO BREAK OTHER PEOPLE'S NOSES"... oh wait that's what i would say

Nowhere Man 03-14-2004 05:29 AM

Yeah. I swear, I honestly don't think JR knows what the word "literally" means. Either that, or WWE has hired some wonderful people to do their first aid.

PureHatred 03-14-2004 05:49 AM

Awww..don 't blame good ol' JR. Lotta guys do it. Whenever I watch my old WWF tapes I get to hear Gorilla Monsoon yelling, "Tito Santana is LITERALLY exploding all over The Hammer!"

I mean if Tito really was literally exploding all over Greg Valentine that would mean......eww.....nevermind.
