Well we heard the rumor that there was a Randy Savage DVD coming out.. and how Vince killed it in short order. More or less, Vince apparently refuses to do business with him, as he puts it. What's the story here? I've heard rumors but wonder if there's a definitive word on why Vince hates Savage so much.

Also, if anyone knows what he's up to recently, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In seriousness I'd actually like to know the reason behind it as well. I've heard Vince won't do business with him but not the reason why.

Randy Savage did screw Vince into getting the rights to the Macho Man name, and then left to go to WCW, so I can understand in that respect why he does not want to do business with him. But there does seem to be more to it than that and neither Vince or Savage will explain why...

The Road Warriors conned Vince into using the Legion of Doom name that they also owned and Vince did business. He does business with anyone he can make money from.

Nothing to do with that, as Vince was willing to negotiate with Savage when WCW refused to resign him (briefly) in late 1996.

The rumour is that Savage was banging Stephanie, perhaps even while she was underage.

I still have to believe that if there were any truth to that, Vince would have completely destroyed him.

Not that, looking at Savage's life now, he's on top of the world...

The Savage/Steph thing is probably bullshit. Vince's reaction to it just doesn't seem right. Vince would either overreact and completely destroy Savage (as Darth said), or, assuming Stephanie was overage, I don't think he would care that much at all. I mean, I'm not trying to make Vince out to be a heartless father or anything, but he just seems like the kind of father that would let his daughter make those decisions for herself.

Although, to be honest, when you hear Vince talk about his grandkids, he does get very passionate. I assume the same would be of his children. If Savage hurt Stephanie, I could very easily see Vince making a solemn promise to himself (or even Steph or Linda) that he would not work with Savage again, and what we are just seeing is Vince keeping that promise.
