Kurt Angle also leaving?
 

I heard that Kurt Angle said on FOX News Live that he wasn't going to wrestle after Wrestlemania 20 (or something to that effect). Is this true? If so then Smackdown, for a lack of a better phrase, is f**ked. If it's true then they are going to lose Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, the Big Show and now Goldberg.

Did he not reinjure his neck? He'll probably go away to get surgery, but as for him quitting? I highly doubt it.

There's been talk of him going away from a long time. The guy's neck is still pretty fu</>cked over, whether surgically repaired or not.

I'm not sure if it's getting that bad yet but right now it doesn't sound too good for Smackdown if Lesnar and Angle leave, plus having Edge go over to Raw to be Darth Trips' newest job toy. If all those guys did leave Smackdown would that give more time for the crusierweights and also maybe O'Haire would be let out of his cage and finally get a chance? Nah, it just means more underserved pushes for A-Train and Big Show. What was I thinking?

Big Show is leaving?

Angle is going to chronic neck problems from the original injury. He takes time off, comes back...no biggie. I've read nothing about anywhere about him leaving. I'm going to assume you misheard.

Lesnar....there was a story on Startribune.com (the Minnesota newspaper) where they asked coach Mike Tice about the Lesnar/NFL rumors. He basically has no idea who this guy was and blew off the reporter..so the only people buying into Lesnar joining the NFL are wrestling websites. Not known to be terribly reliable.

Big Show isn't leaving, but he's been documented as saying that he wants to take time off. He'll be back, but he won't be staying after WM for now, from what I've hearde. So Smackdown will have Undertaker, John Cena, and Eddie Guerrero if everything I've read is true.

I doubt Angle's leaving for good. Anyway, he's in for a long term feud with Eddie, right? At least I hope so... and I think he'll stick around for at least a little while.

Oh, its true. Angle is leaving to make America a better place. He wants to devote more time to spreading the message of peace and integrity to all residents of the nation. He is a true American hero, and we shall all miss him.

Yeah, I read that Big Show wants to take some time off for some nagging injuries. Altough, if Lesnar is indeed leaving, Show may have to put that off for a bit.
