Random Puroresu Thread 3/25/08
I figured a few people may be interested in this match.
Masato Yoshino Vs CIMA (C) Open the Dream Gate title match. Yoshino has been on a roll, originally with his tag partner and stable mate Naruki Doi, whom together recently held three tag titles at once, including NOAH's junior tag titles. Despite the team ultimately losing all 3 titles, and having a small falling out, Yoshino has been on an amazing single's streak, defending his Brave Gate title. Yoshino, a former member of the now defunct Blood Generation in the past along with Naruki Doi, and te "leader" CIMA, has totally come into his own. While defending his Brave Gate title, Yoshino has defeated nearly every member of CIMA's current stable, Typhoon. The most recent victory was when he actually defended his title successfully against CIMA himself. This is their second match, for CIMA's title. This match is damn good, and done well. CIMA protects his status as the company ace, but never makes Yoshino look bad. Plus, Yoshino always delivers in big matces. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RFZEJQNJ |
My CIMA love compels me to download this.

Gah, all I can get is the audio. I'll work on fixing that tommorow. Not in the mood right now. I will watch this though.

You may need the ffdshow codec. Just google it.
|
Used DivX. It's running now. Watching the entrances as we speak.

holy shit @ the spot where Cima goes for the Schwein and Yoshino reverses into the crussifix, CIMA kicks out and Yoshino goes for the Sol Naciente only to have it counterd into the Schwein. Fucking brilliant.
|
Damn and now he reverses the Mad Splash into the Sol Naciente. Nice
|
Good story told so far as well. The whole you hurt my arm I hurt yours I'm digging.
|
Wow. Loved the finish. Even after all the focused punishment he held in. really lays down ground work for matches years to come. Outstanding.

Masato Yoshino>*. Thanks for this, Kev.

Also, http://puroresucentral.com/ has profiles on basically every Japanese wrestler there is. |
I figured this would probably be the best place to ask. So i really wanna get into more dragon gate stuff. What would you guys recommend. I plan on buying dvds from ivp2.

Eh, can't do too much to help you specifically... Someone was saying July 2005 through September 2005 was good, so the shows in there, and also Dec 05- Feb 06 was good. I liked most of the stuff I saw from last year and this year. I mainly watch the Infinity shows (almost like recap shows) and you can find them on torrent sites... As far as specific shows though, I'm not 100% sure... When I have some free time I'll try to look over some of the dvds they offer and match up what I've seen from them, to see if I can throw together some recommendations.

Kev I don't suppose you have Shingo/BxB vs SpeedMuscle from 1/15 do you?

Naruki Doi Vs KENTA is official for 5/5
While it's pretty obvious KENTA is probably going to take it, this should be a fricking amazing match. |
