Wow Tommy Dreamer
 

I was watchin the match between him and Chavo from ECW yeasterday and wow is it just me or has Tommy Dreamer REALLY put on some weight lately and not the musular kind. I know he's not a "main eventer" but I saw him from the Royal Rumble DVD from 2003 and he looked pretty good with the "24/7 hardcore rulz" but now with his jobbing status he's lookin pretty bad. I think they should build him up again. "Motivate" him enough to get him to lose the weight, do some more "innovating" moves and give him a decient ECW or Intercontental title run. Maybe not. I just wanted to point it out.

Wow... I just realized how awesome it would be if Tommy Dreamer won the 24 man Battle Royal and beat Chavo to win the ECW Title...

























And then Justin Credible was the surprise 8th entrant for the MITB ladder match and used it to immediately win the title from Dreamer seconds later. :lol:

Honestly... while it would be looked at as some of the most random and horrific booking ever. Gotta be honest, I'd laugh.

Fuck that, put Raven in the MITB match and have him take the title from Dreamer.

I only say Justin Credible because he's the guy who ended Dreamer's other ECW Title reign in a few minutes.

Honestly, I would just really like to see Dreamer get an ECW Title run.

So at exactly what point was Tommy Dreamer the height of fitness?

It surprises me how good Tommy Dreamer is in the ring, though. I know ECW wasn't all garbage wrestling, but Dreamer is one of those guys I pictured as only being good at the hardcore style. He has done some great work in general with a lot of guys on Sci-Fi, though.

I am all for the WWE re-hiring Raven. While they're at it, they could re-sign Johnny Swinger, too.

Raven has stated many times that he will never ever go back to wwe. So we all can forget that

Didn't Ted DiBiase say he never had any intent on going back to the WWE, and then signed up as a road agent/producer. Just saying, money can do a lot to end bridges.

You're right, though, it is very unlikely Raven will ever end up in the WWE again. Mainly because the WWE probably doesn't see Raven as important enough to warrant the money it would take to coax him back.

Dreamer had to work his ass off to get the ECW fans to like him because he worked too clean/bland of a style. It was a huge moment for him when they finally started chanting "He's hardcore! He's hardcore!" Tommy has always been a good wrestler, just a boring one (like Val Venis).

Do I think he deserves a run with the ECW Title? Sure. Why not. It's a throw-away belt these days, but putting his name next to it's old lineage does seem to make sense. Don't know who he would feud with though.
