What program on your computer?

I was using Winamp for the longest but then I got a new comp with Vista on it so I have just been using Windows Media Player. It has been annoying me lately though so I am thinking of switching back to Winamp.

What do you use? Like what is the best, in your opinion

I use to use Winamp too, but then I very slowly and reluctantly started using iTunes because it interfaced easily with my iPod and all associated iMerch so whatever, I relented and did that. I dunno, it's definitely grown on me a lot since I first got it.

iTunes really is pretty stellar for my needs. Used to love Winamp though.

I used to use it when I had a Zen. then the asshole company bricked it with shitty firmware....

winamp was good and the EQ was useful. right now i'm using media player but i don't have much music on my laptop. it's annoying. i miss winamp.

Winamp with standard basic skin and older version too.

I dont like annoying fancy new skins or bloated new versions.

I hate to talk about porno in this thread about mp3 players but I kidna want to switch from Windows Media Player because whhen I am watching porno, I like to play music also. So I guess I am gonna just go back to Winamp

Used to be all about Winamp before they went and started putting 4376547823 features in it and it stopped working so well for me. Then I was all about MusicMatch, but the same shit happened.

I hate iTunes. Only use it for updating my iPod.

I pretty much just use windows media player. :-\

You can download skins for foobar if you want, but I just use the default because it is clean. The create a layout is titties, and so this is what mine looks like.

Winamp right now, but that foobar thingy looks pretty sweet. Might look into that.

I have I Tunes for some reason, it is easy to use except it will make my comp go slow if its open for too long

That looks like the most fucking cluttered music player ever with all those tabs at the top and stuff and the songs are listed in a format that looks like some folder where I wanna delete files and stuff. I could never use that

The tabs only appear when you make a playlist. There could only be one tab if I wanted. All of those I made for quick access to certain artists. Can just as easily remove them. You can also just save playlists for later if you want, or just completely ignore that and open music as you see fit.

On top of that, that is a custom layout that I made using the editor. I did it like so because it gave me a quick list on the left for my library without having to go into a separate menu. The default is more like what Triple A posted. There is usually no window listing your music on the left side - You have to go into your library separately. Can just as easily change it to sort by artist only, genre, year, album, or even folder structure as they are actually found on your HD.

It is not skinned either. There are plenty of skins out there to make it look cleaner or whatever, but I am so used to this method and layout now that I couldn't see changing it. The pic is just to show customization options. It can be as simple, as functional, or complicated as you like it.
