Jimmy Rave fan heat in ROH
 

I'm kind of new to Ring of Honor, got into it when I attended my first show at The Manhattan Center in September 2006. I went to a show back in December 2006 at The Manhattan Center where I got to see Jimmy Rave for the first time, but I noticed the fans absolutely crapping on him, including hearing chants of "Die Jimmy Die!" I remember hearing about fans throwing toilet paper at him before his matches (instead of streamers). I tried searching the Internet about this heat but found nothing.

So why was there so much fan heat on Jimmy Rave in ROH? Thanks.

1) He sucked

2) He never had his own finisher, just kept stealing moves from the Styles Clash to the Pedigree

3)Best thing about him was his manager

4) He went from feuds with AJ to Punk, where they both made him look like a million bucks, and he still sucked.

5)Actually the best thing was Nigel breaking his jaw

And with all that said Innovator still loved him.

Legend needs to get his Jimmy:heart:Rave tattoo removed from his ass

There's just nothing appealing about Jimmy Rave

Rave has great in-ring work, but not much personality or charisma to back it up.

That's his downfall.

I've seen him work live about 5-6 times and have worked with him, etc. and he's great in the ring, very smooth and very quick on his feet. His personality seriously sucks and he's hard to get behind because he hardly ever works the crowd. Typical of today's generation.

Yeah I guess you could call what he was getting 'smark heat' i.e. doing the Pedigree (OMG HHH move he holds everyone down BOOOOOO). That kind of thing. Rave's a deceptively smart worker though and a hell of a bumper, valuable asset to have.

I dare say one person somewhere decided to boo him and then everyone joined in.

Or it's because he absolutly terrible.

Because he was a heel. And at the time, he ma have been Ring of Honor's only heel as all of the other ones were cheered to the point where in my 1st few Ring of Honor shows I had no idea who was good or bad. (Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries)
