Stanley Kamel dies at 65

...I know him best for his role on Monk as Adrian's psychiatrist. :'(

Wow. Didn't see that one coming.

I don't mean to sound like a douche, but I wonder how they'll handle it on Monk... Since he's fairly vital to Monk (even more-so than Sharona was), that's a multi-episode storyline at least (if they don't just replace him with another actor), but the fact that they need to handle it after he dies will likely feel awkward.

I keep thinking this says Stanley Kubrick and I keep getting upset even though he is already dead.

Yeah, he was so integral to the show. It's odd, because they just ran the episode where he "quit" on USA. So it's really creepy.

I didn't think he was that old, to be honest. I mean, I didn't think he was 35, but when I heard 65, I was surprised. At that age, a heart attack is no longer that stunning, but wow. It sucks because he's a good actor, and apparently a very solid individual.
