My PS2 wont read dick

I tried every game. What to do? I dont wanna buy another one cause i'm getting a PS3 in a few months, but i bough the new MGS pack that came out and i want to play them. the fuck |

RP, I think this happened to my PS2 before.
Put in a PS2 Games and put your ear next to the console, if you hear a clicking, post it here. Also put in an audio CD, or a PS1 Game, if either work, I know whats wrong. The Dvd reader lens/whatever is broken, I had to send mine to Sony to have it fixed, cost like 10 bucks for shipping, and took like 10 days to get it back. |
There are home fixes if you're out of warranty and even remotely competent. Just google PS2 Disc Read Error. Or get it repaired. It's probably cheap to do now, since the PS3's the new hot piece of ass.

Yeah, mine had problem few years ago, cleaned the disc lens and no more problems. As someone said google the problem and get step by step solution.
