The ending on RAW (spoilers)
When Regal ended the video feed before Orton was going to tap to HHH, who do you think was the brains behind that idea. There is no way that Gerwitz thought of that
|
I bet Joey Styles had a hand in that idea. What better way to [hopefully] sky-rocket website hits than to leave the fans wondering who won?
|
I didn't see it... but it SOUNDS stupid

Would have been stupid without regal, but he made it awesome.
|
I thought it was pretty cool. Gonan get Regal mad heat, which it surely did.
|
Reminded me of WCW.
WE GOTTA GO, WE GOTTA GO, SEE YOU NEXT WEEK ON NITRO, WHAT IS GOING ON |

I haven't seen it, but I think this weeks Raw sounds pretty solid
|
I don't think any harm will be done by it. William Regal looks like a power-crazed prick, which is awesome. There is money (WWE money, that is, which means no real money) in the King of Kings facing the King of the Ring down the line. Regal is also awesome, and can do whatever he likes, as far as I am concerned.
It also does leave some intrigue there, but I see a conundrum here: Either I don't care about Triple H vs. Randy Orton (and I don't), so seeing their match interrupted by Regal doesn't bother me; or I do care about Triple H vs. Randy Orton, so I am ever-so-pissed I didn't get my match. |

It would have been better if it was a big match and not one we have seen dozens of times before.
|
Regal was money that whole episode.
|
I just read the results, sounds really fucking stupid. Hell, why don't they just cut off the whole show? Then regal will definately get MAD heat. Yeah.
|
Cool idea for a TV show, but for the live audience that blows as a finish.
They could have easily done that finish, and then had Hunter challenge Orton to come back and finish the match. They had a big crowd last night, I cant see how anyone would leave that arena feeling satisfied with that finish. |

So, I was up late and saw the midnight airing of RAW. Saw Mr. Kennedy piss King Regal off and caught the HHH-Orton match and that was a pretty fucking stupid way to end the show.
I actually found myself cheering for Kennedy though when he interupted King Regal. But that ending was bullshit. |
That ending was brilliant and ballsy as hell. If you don't get it, it was supposed to make you angry.

I thought it was decent, but I have a feeling this will be a "last straw" for a lot of people. |

When Kennedy came out, I groaned and thought, "ah, not that guy."

"...THIS GUUUUUY..." |
I thought it was an interesting finish, but I"m not sure I like that it was during HHH vs Orton for the belt. If it was more of a random match it would be awesome, but I think for a championship match to end like that kinda sucks.

Besides, this is the only thing that makes another HHH vs. Orton match interesting. And "last straw" for what? |
Quote:
That would make a good justification. "The ratings are down already, why don't we piss off even more people?" |
As a side note, does "Last straw for a lot of people" really need explanation?
|
Around these parts?
More than likely. |
It was pretty unique, I'll give WWE that. People are talking about it, and it's creating some interest. That's what wrestling needs. Will this intrigue people enough to want to turn in next week? I have no clue, but I'm a Regal mark so I want to watch and see where this is going.

It wasn't the greatest ending to raw ever, but it was better than the "Orton tapping out, HHH celebrates" ending that I was expecting.
|
I thought it was pretty cool. Regal's obvioulsy in line for some big shit.
|
I liked it, though I do think they should have finished the match up for the live crowd
|
Also, would have been a better play for this to happen with Orton as the champion on the verge of tapping as opposed to Triple H defending with Orton on the verge of tapping.
