Which Blade Movie Is Best?
 

I guess TBS is having a Blade marathon right now.

The first. 2 and 3 sucked. Never bothered with the show.

I thought they were all awesome. But Blade 1 is probably the best.

Of course there is something novel to the first one just like the first Matrix is to the Matrix movies but I really liked the second one. A lot of good fighting and I liked the new kind of vampire thing. The third one seemed different than the rest. The part where Whistler died wasn't powerful since he already kind of died before and Blade just stood there and roared. Then you've got a new spin on the whole Dracula thing and Triple H lol. The only good thing about that movie was the Jessica Biel eye candy and Ryan Reynold's lines.

never saw #3, but #2 was 50% worse than #1 and I bet #3 was 50% worse than #2 meaning I really don't need to bother seeing it.

I thought the first was great...Second was acceptable for the most part...Third was pretty mediocre...TV series also pretty mediocre

I'm actually a big fan of the second one - pretty close call, but for me it just pips the first one.

2 wasn't that bad.

Yes humor me guys. What about 2 did you guys think was so bad about it?

2 was the best. Best director, best action, best story. I love 1, mostly because of Frost (one of my favorite movie villains). But 2 takes it. Trinity was a joke and the TV series is the punchline.

Here's a list of what I liked about Blade 2:

1. Vampires feeding on other vampires.
2. Snipes gets to showcase his martial arts skills unlike in Trinity he didn't really do anything and the screen time was split up between him, Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds and the Vampire group.
3. That one geek getting blown up.
4. Another guy was literally sliced in half.
5. Blade killing all those security guys.
6. Blade falling into a huge pool of blood and then the way he comes up out of it.
7. You've got the cool fight between him and the girl then a couple of action filled fights with the main vampire guy.
8. At the end the Sun comes up and the girl turns to ash while in his arms.

Ryan Reynolds was funny in 3 tho.

Blade 2 had way too much CGI.

3 was weak and the show was supposedly garbage

I like all three films and was at one point gonna buy the Series on DVD. As a die-hard comic fan I feel obliged to buy it, but I don't wanna spend £10 on it coz it looks shit. Is it as bad as everyone says?

BLade 2 was great, dunno what you are all on about. Blade 2, Blade 1, Blade Series, then somewhere way down the list Blade 3.
