Random Idea #2: Randy K. Orton
 

We all know that Kennedy was supposed to be Vince's son, but it turned out to (not) be Hornswoggle. Everyone was saying that it was going to be Kennedy and it was the obvious way to go.

What if it actually wound up being Orton? Since we've never, on-air, heard what the "K" in "RKO" stands for (I don't believe), it could be revealed that it stands for Kennedy.

After a while of the (Ken) Kennedy teasing, they could have swerved us and had Vince reveal that he had an affair with Bob Orton's wife and that Randy is his son.

This would have been the perfect way to salvage that Kennedy debacle instead of throwing the entire half-year storyline away. Plus, Orton seems like the kind of asshole who would be a McMahon and they really could have played him up to be as such.

Hmmmm...yeah. But then (storyline-wise) why wouldn't Vince have come out and said all this when Hornswoggle was named as his "son" so as to not cause him the obvious embarrasment?

Uh, this is assuming that Hornswoggle was never named his son.

It makes more sense. But after they couldn't get Kennedy in the angle all need for sense was thrown out the window. Applause for trying.

K in RKO is for Keith.

They could still do the storyline. Have Shane or JBL (Since JBL revealed it) and remind us all that the documents said Vince has a bastard son and Finlay just forged McMahon's documents with his own about Hornswaggle.

Or they could just ignore it. Orton's got enough time as it is.

Great, a guy who's career has been going over every legend he has no business going over and is only on the WWE Payroll because of his daddy is gonna get a new daddy.

Great, I'd have a NEW reason to call him "Daddy's Boy" based on your idea.

That would be pretty pointless. Also, anything the WWE could have done back then would have been better than Hornswoggle being revealed as the son.

I saw the title of this thread, and thought you were talking about Orton changing his gimmick, in that he'd make Lillian Garcia introduce himself as Randy K. Orton, and would demand to know everybody's middle initial before agreeing to wrestle them.
