2. which is closest to the actual series?
3. Which is deepest?

or just name some and why you like them

Indifferent Clox 05-07-2008 09:59 PM

Nowhere Man 05-07-2008 11:24 PM

1. Batman: The Animated Series
2. Batman: The Animated Series
3. Batman: The Animated Series

Pretty much any of the Bruce Timm cartoons are awesome (I'm particularly fond of Justice League Unlimited) Oh, and I've gotta give it up to the Tick.

Kris P Lettus 05-07-2008 11:45 PM

The Tick

SPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNN

Fox 05-07-2008 11:50 PM

X-Men: The Animated Series and Spider-Man: The Animated Series were both quite good.

Batman: TAS is a classic; probably one of the finest television series to ever grace the small screen.

My personal favorite is Justice League Seasons 1 and 2 (Unlimited got too convoluted and wasn't enough about the main 7 anymore). There are some great episodes like "A Better World" (a control obsessed Justice League from an alternate universe enters our Earth, kidnaps the JL and takes over), "Starcrossed" (Hawk People invade Earth and Hawk Girl is revealed as a traitor), "War World" (Superman is captured by Mongul and forced to battle on War World), and "The Savage Time" (the JL has to go back in time to WWII and help defeat Vandal Savage - a computer genius who traveled back before them, usurped Hitler, and used revolutionary technology to win WWII).

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 12:04 AM

I remember me and my friends trying to do the two fingers of death thing to each other after watching that batman episode.

Poor eric, he never saw it coming.

wait nevermind, fuck eric, eric was a fucking asshole who deserved it.

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 12:04 AM

was the new adventures of batman good as well?

Lock Jaw 05-08-2008 12:13 AM

Yeah, it was still good.

Although not technically a superhero cartoon, Gargoyles was awesome and pretty deep for a kid's show.

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 12:49 AM

where can i watch the new adventures? I can't find them on sidereel tv links or surfthechannel.. or aol for that matter

LoDownM 05-08-2008 02:02 AM

X-Men and Spider-Man from the 90's.

Rammsteinmad 05-08-2008 02:28 AM

X-Men and Spider-Man hands down. I don't know anuone who didn't watch X-Men at the time.

Justice League was pretty cool. I have five of the DVD's. Wasn't too keen on the Batman ones though.

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 02:43 AM

i watched a batman and xmen episode tonight

Loved batman, xmen was good if a little cheesy.

I used to be morph on the playground, but watching now that guy was a loser.

what's the difference between him and mistique besides the obv gender?

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 03:34 PM

About to watch superman: doomsday and Justice League the New Frontier tonight

Danny Electric 05-08-2008 03:41 PM

X Men and Spiderman were awesome.
I loved it when they did The Four Horsemen stuff, and probabaly one of the reasons why I have Angel tattooed on my arm.

Got to love the Spawn cartoon as well, so pissed off that they left it a cliffhanger.

And as most of you have said, Justice League.

Kris P Lettus 05-08-2008 04:05 PM

Darkwing Duck

Rammsteinmad 05-08-2008 04:18 PM

Hey Danny Electric can you post a picture of your tattoo?

Danny Electric 05-08-2008 04:21 PM

I have two terrible pictures, hang on.

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 04:23 PM

Hanging.

Not the best quality picture at all, hard to get one when it goes all the way around your arm.

I have an ace of hearts on my wrist on the same arm, which I'm going to get exploding into the Phoenix Bird :)

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 04:29 PM

that's pretty killer dude

therocksays 05-08-2008 04:38 PM

aqua teen hunger force

Danny Electric 05-08-2008 04:38 PM

I don't think rammsteinmad liked it lol

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 04:56 PM

He Pmed me about how much he hated it actually. I'm sooo sorry.

Lol jk

ClockShot 05-08-2008 05:29 PM

Batman: The Animated Series - Absolute classic stuff. Thank god Jetix picked it up.

X-Men and Spider-Man (on FOX) - There should never have been spinoffs of these.

Iron Man - Fun stuff.

Dark-Slicer Diago 05-08-2008 06:01 PM

The ones I like are(in no order)

Darkwing Duck
Iron Man
X-Men(90's)
Spider-Man(90's)
Fantastic 4(90's)
Batman The Animated Series
all Justice League

Indifferent Clox 05-08-2008 06:09 PM

can you guys link me to some reliable places to watch these?
I have sidereel and tv-links and surf the channel but most of those are all random and sporadic as to whether they actually work.

McLegend 05-08-2008 06:16 PM

JLU
Batman The Animated Series

Superman: Doomsday was alright, but they change a lot from the comic. It's nothing great.

New Frontier was pretty amazing. The comic is amazing too and has a lot more detail, but the movie is definitely entertaining as well.

road doggy dogg 05-08-2008 07:47 PM

90s Spiderman easily. Sooooooooo sick
crossrine

Nowhere Man 05-08-2008 07:55 PM

I wasn't a particularly big fan of Superman: Doomsday, though the big fight itself is pretty awesome.

New Frontier is great, especially if you're a fan of Green Lantern (since Hal is pretty much the main character) Makes me sad that they're not using this story for the JLA movie instead of that abortion of a script they have now.

Heros Welcome 05-08-2008 08:35 PM

Batman:The Animated Series. CLASSIC!

Rammsteinmad 05-09-2008 02:41 AM

Wow that's pretty badass. Rammsteinmad likes. :y:

Though what's up with your arm? Is it the angle of the camera, or do you have an abnormal sized arm?

Danny Electric 05-09-2008 04:02 AM

Just the angle the picture was taken, tried to position it to get the best picture.

Jeritron 05-09-2008 04:55 AM

Xmen Animated Series
and Spiderman Animated Series
-from early to mid 90s. Both amazing shows, with consistent and flowing seasons.

Same with Batman Animated series from the same time period

Indifferent Clox 05-09-2008 05:13 AM

Now where can I find them?

BigDaddyCool 05-09-2008 10:09 AM

I always liked the Maxx, never made a lick of sence, but I liked it. Also Batman.

Dave Youell 05-09-2008 10:33 AM

I'm a big fan of the new 'The Batman' series, loving the way they have re-done Joker

Used to enjoy the Spawn cartoons as well, but they were tough to find on TV

thedamndest 05-09-2008 05:29 PM

Batman:TAS (not as much when it moved to WB and it changed animation, though I liked that Robin became Nightwing). X-Men. Spider-Man. Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates.
