Randy Couture is in this and the director has won Oscars..

I heard an interview with Couture saying this is more about the trials and tribulations outside the ring for an MMA fighter..

I have high expectations for this..

It's a Mamet film, and I have yet to decide rather I like it or not. I got a sneak peak and it's MUCH better than Never Back Down. That doesn't say anything though as that movie fuckin sucked. I'm giving Redbelt a 6. And I THINK that's being somewhat generous.

I knew just from the trailer it would be better than Never Back Down..

Don't take me for the be all end all. It's getting some INCREDIBLY high ratings too. My question for that though, is there are certain directors (Mamet being one of them) who the critics will rave for regardless of what they put out.

And like I said, I'm still out on what i have finally decided about it. It's one of those movies that you'll end up thinking about for a while after you've seen it.

I saw it and am giving it a 10

Saw the trailer a few days ago and was going to make a thread about it but forgot. Looks interesting.

Watching this tomorrow. I'm pretty psyched for it, and I'm not even an MMA fan.

I'll probably watch it but I have absolutly no expectations going into it. Aim low shoot high.

I thought it was phenomenal.

Mess of a film, can't believe Mamet was responsible for this.
