.mpg files stopped playing right?
 

Ever since I got this new computer, there is a certain group of .mpg files that I have (porn) that won't play right. It's not every .mpg file as others play perfectly fine. But these certain ones...

They are supposed to be like maybe 15 mins or so long each... but it comes up and the clip says it's like 7 seconds long... and then it reaches the end and the audio keeps playing sometimes, but the video stops at 7 seconds. Then when I move around the time marker in the video, like towards the end, it will play near the end of the video. But wtf is going on?

"Gspot" says the right codec (MPEG-1) is installed. I dunno.

probably just dodgy files more than the player/codecs. You could just use VLC to play em.

The files always played fine on past computers. And they didn't become corrupted because I tried to play them from backups on an external drive and got the same exact thing. It is making me mad because these vids are so hot.

K it plays in VLC. That'll do I guess.

I would suggest to download new codecs http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...ec&btnG=Search download one of those packets of K-Lite for the new computer. Otherwise use your imagination or buy a porn magazine.
