Thor: the lead role is...

Possibly Triple H

Omg I just marked the fuck out.

Kris P Lettus 05-12-2008 09:24 PM

I've been saying he should get the Conan franchise if they ever revamp it..

mitchables 05-12-2008 09:40 PM

What? No. This is terrible.

Indifferent Clox 05-12-2008 09:52 PM

I'm sure Triple H can pull it off.

Blue Demon 05-12-2008 09:53 PM

I AM THE KING OF KINGS

Destor 05-12-2008 09:56 PM

Its not like Thor requires fine acting...

El Fangel 05-12-2008 11:22 PM

He already has the skill set needed.

I think it's pretty good actually.

Bad Company 05-12-2008 11:53 PM

The problem is, he'll just be HHH, not Thor. Then he'll come back to the WWE as Thor. But not.

Downunder 05-13-2008 03:43 AM

He should go back to the WWE after shooting the movie as Thor - awesome gimmick. He already has experance with a big hammer...

Requiem 05-13-2008 04:03 AM

I am a much bigger fan of Kevin McKidd playing this role, which is the other actor apparently being considered for the role. While Triple H might look the part, I don't think he could pull it off well enough acting-wise to be honest.

Gonzo 05-13-2008 04:16 AM

I guess we'll see. I really don't think any of the movies that any WWE wrestler has made has been above a 6 at the most.

Gonzo 05-13-2008 04:16 AM

On the 10 scale that is.

You don't need a great actor for Thor. You need one for his alternate persona, Donald Blake. But the characters are so physically different, you need two different actors, which is why I'm ok with Triple H.

This is all assuming that they go the donald Blake route. But being that's what his origin story is, and that he's back to using it in the current books, I think it's likely.

Rammsteinmad 05-13-2008 12:23 PM

Kevin McKidd could actually make a pretty good Thor. Definitely not Triple H in my opinion. Bad Company kinda got it in one with the whole gimmick/coming back as Thor thing.

Suburban Commando is clearly a 10, and that features 2

Requiem 05-14-2008 10:37 PM

I don't know what that means, Kalyx you asshole.

Indifferent Clox 05-14-2008 11:16 PM

My thoughts Exactly.

I had never heard this abbreviation either, but then again I don't have An asshole where my brain should be. Deductive reasoning really.

Requiem 05-14-2008 11:22 PM

I thought he just misspelled MTH, and was saying that TPWW's very own should be Thor. Just clarifying though. Thanks for being a fuck off.

Indifferent Clox 05-14-2008 11:27 PM

I was just imitating my favorite poster!

Shaggy 05-15-2008 12:33 AM

Triple H would be an interesting choice...

The big news I have been hearing lately is that the person they are trying to get for the role at the moment is non other than Mr. Bradgelina himself..

Brad Pitt....

Requiem 05-15-2008 12:41 AM

The only place I've heard that is rumors from fans, tbh. Haven't heard anything official about him being considered yet.

James Steele 05-15-2008 01:24 AM

<--- DESTINY

Mr Regal 05-15-2008 08:50 AM

Brad Pitt would have to gain about three hundred pounds of bulk.

LOL.

Indifferent Clox 05-15-2008 07:28 PM

I think Brad Pitt would play the non superhero version. I don't keep up with Thor that much.

Avenger 05-15-2008 09:10 PM

lol @ people looking for a good actor to play Thor.

Yeah, Daniel Day Lewis should do Thor, definitely more of a representation of the character than Triple H

Indifferent Clox 05-15-2008 10:27 PM

omg I would pay big bucks to see there will be THOR. And by big bucks
i mean 8 dollars

El Fangel 05-15-2008 10:42 PM

Just read in Wizard, with a quote from the director

The movie will possibly cost upwards of 300 million, If the check clears, will likely cast an unknown.

:-\ Just read that, Kinda disappointed.

OssMan 05-15-2008 11:54 PM
